The new Laura Mercier Double Impact Eyeshadow Palette popped up today at nordstrom.com. Laura does an eyeshadow palette like this seasonally and typically around Fall or Winter. This one is packed with nearly all matte shades.

Let’s have a look!

Laura Mercier Double Impact Eyeshadow Palette contains 12 hand selected shades by Laura herself and is made up of mostly matte finish shades with merely two shimmers. Each shimmer shadow is 0.02 oz in size and the mattes are 0.03 oz each. The palette is made within the US.

You get:

  • Dune (matte)
  • Wind (matte)
  • Earth (matte)
  • Bone (matte)
  • Love Potion (matte)
  • Venomous (matte)
  • Poison (matte)
  • Hypnotic (matte)
  • Voodoo (matte)
  • Spirit (sateen)
  • Rock (shimmer)
  • Dust (shimmer)

So far, this one is available at nordstrom.com but I’m sure Sephora.com will get it shortly as well.

There’s a free gift with purchase of $125 at Nordstrom.! You get a makeup bag filled with Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder (0.03 oz.), Flawless Skin Face Polish (0.4 oz.), Longwear Eye Pencil in Noir (0.03 oz.), and Lip Glacé in Bare Naked (0.1 oz.).

Will you be picking it up?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I love her palettes; I’ve hit pan on at least two shades in the 2014 Artist Palette, but some of these colors in this palette look like the same shades. Not enough variety in shades for me to purchase this one.

The original Eye Art Artists Palette is still my favorite. In fact I’ll probably have to buy “African Violet” as a single. The newest one doesn’t thrill me. As Robin said, too many duplicates. I have all those preceding it.
