About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This idea appeals to me so much, and yet I have to remember the nearly full pot of their rose gold clay pot shadow/liner that’s been sitting untouched for the better part of a year, even though I thought I HAD TO have it. The couple times I tried it as a liner, I looked crazy. Oh well, $24 left in my pocket (or likely going toward some other make-up).

I want that Rose Gold clay pot shadow/liner so bad! If you don’t mind my asking, how did it make you look crazy?

It may just be user error, or it may be that my 39-year-old eyelids aren’t flattered by such shiny things, but it looked like I had rose-gold tinted aluminum foil stuck to my lash line. “You have something on you” is how my husband put it. It worked better as a shadow for me, but still I rarely use it. But it may work very well for someone else!
