Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Pumpkin Sugar Review
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Pumpkin Sugar Perfume Oil is a lovely Fall concoction and a must have pumpkin scent that will evoke the spirit of the season in you! This is one of my favorite fragrances from the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Halloweenies 2016 releases and I urge you to pick it up before it disappears.
Pumpkin, sugar, spice, and all things nice come together in this strong Fall scented perfume oil from the Lab. They did a fabulous job capturing the essence of pumpkin and spices in this blend! The Lab dubs it a spiced pumpkin scent with crystallized, glittering shades of sugar!
In the bottle, this fragrance has a hard cinnamon pumpkin note. It’s a weird thing about cinnamon as it smells delightful when you bake with it or even in fragrances BUT alone without the addition of other spices or even sugar it can smell very harsh and hard. That comes into play when this fragrance is in the bottle. It’s a sneeze inducing cinnamon note with a back note of pulpy pumpkin.
On my skin wet, it starts to take form and smells almost candy-ish with notes of sugar and spiced pumpkin. There’s a sweetness here that gives off a warmth candy note that’s simply delightful.
As it dries down it goes warmer and warmer and warmer! The sugar, spice, and pumpkin all come together and smell like a bakery filled with Fall pastries, cookies, muffins, and cakes! The scent is all sugar and spiced pumpkin cookie-ish with the sweetness when wet disappearing to reveal a deeper, richer, warm spiciness!
