I’m having a hard time deciding which Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Halloweenie 2016 Perfume Oil I love best but Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Yipe! Perfume Oil is coming in close. Why? Because it smells like Cherry Chapstick.

I’ve spent most of my life trying to find the perfect scent to capture the smell of lipstick. Guerlain French Kiss holds my top choice for capturing the spirit and essence of lipstick where as Replica Lipstick On and Frederic Malle Lipstick Rose comes a close second.
But none of these fragrances have every captured the essence of my youth and my gateway drug into the world of makeup the way Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Yipe! Perfume Oil has. As you’ve heard before, when I was quite young I ate an entire tube of Cherry Chapstick that my dad had in his coat pocket. Sincerely, Cherry Chapstick is to blame for every single one of my makeup and beauty purchases. It was my gateway drug into the world of makeup and to this day I still remember how tasty I felt it was, how yummy the flavor was so good, in fact, that I ate it. Yeah, not one of my better moments in life.
Yipe! brings back so many of my best memories about makeup. Bonne Bell Lipsmackers, Cherry Chapstick, and all the beauty balms that have been in my life all past through my mind when I apply this.
The Lab describes it as a sweet bloody black cherry cream and crushed dried blackberries. In the bottle, it smells like a syrupy rich tart cherry! This cherry is strong, succulent, and juicy. On my skin, the cherry is still very strong and beautiful. It’s a true crushed cherry scent that reminds me of sinking my teeth into a juicy, firm cherry that has a bit of a crunch to it. As it settles and dries down it becomes very cherry Chapstick on my skin! It reminds me of childhood and playing with Lip Smackers and Chapsticks! It truly captures the essence of a Cherry Chapstick perfectly. Oddly, blackberries are swallowed up by the strong cherry notes, never to been seen, heard, or smelled. This is a playful fragrance that’s wearable and delicious and particularly perfect for anyone who grew up loving makeup.
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Yipe! Perfume Oil is a fruity, addictive cherry scent that will bring back plenty of beautiful memories I’m sure.
