L’Occitane Holiday 2016 Advent Calendar Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

The L’Occitane Holiday 2016 Advent Calendar has arrived! And I couldn’t be happier with it! This lovely countdown calendar features 24 beauty goodies from L’Occitane en Provence to spoil yourself with this festive season. This is one of the nicest and most inexpensive makeup and beauty advent calendars you’ll come across this season!

Here’s a look inside!

A lot of the makeup and beauty advent calendars this year have been quite expensive but I really felt like L’Occitane’s Holiday 2016 Advent Calendar was an excellent value! This set contains 24 generously sized L’Occitane goodies. You get skincare, fragrance, bath and body goodies, and much, much more. Last year, the calendar includes some fun extras as well like gift tags, a cookie cutter, and other small seasonal items. This year, they completely eliminated the extra goodies and focused on completely filling the calendar with L’Occitane products. The price was raised from $49 to $55 but believe me the extra $6 is well worth it as this really gets you a TON of generously sized products. It’s such a great way to experience L’Occitane if you haven’t before or to spoil yourself with some of your favorites if you’re already a fan of the brand.

The beautifully illustrated ribbon tied box displays a festive scene of the L’Occitane factory workers hard at working making beautiful gifts for one and all. The whimsical art work is one of the things that really makes this calendar so special. The box splits open to a full-size calendar with little pop open doors that mark down the days until Christmas up until 24th. This is such a great way to greet each day of the season!

Don’t get me wrong, I highly recommend spoiling yourself with this lovely calendar but it’ll make a unique and wonderful gift for a friend or family member that’s under $60.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I purchased one for myself after seeing last years Muse review. WOW, with the order came a $10.00 off on over $50.00. Well guess what? I ordered one for my daughter and that one came with a another $10.00 off coupon. So now my BFF is getting one and one of the greatest things, “Free Shipping”. I can’t wait until December 1st to start this great Advent calendar.

I am so happy for you…nice to have a retreat away from the city that you can call your own! Exciting time!

          • Isabella Muse

aw thanks Julie! Sorry delayed reply! It is nice to get away! I live in a suburban area already but it’s still nice to get away!

  • Nat

Part of me is a tiny bit sad, Muse! Because you review these calendars, you always have to open them all up and you don’t get to enjoy opening each door on the days next month! πŸ™

Hopefully you’ve got yourself a non-review calendar to have fun with in December (maybe one with chocolates?). ;D

As I have said in an earlier post, I snagged the last one of these on Wednesday. Our price was $85, but it is so worth it, Most of the other advent calendars were over $120+ and you can’t beat the quality of L’Occitane’s products. Thank you so much for reviewing these Isabella. I am in love….

  • Arzu Senturk

I emailed my boyfriend your blog and he just ordered me one! Turns out he loves your blog too and your suggestions. Have a blessed Thanksgiving! ☺️☺️

    • Isabella Muse
