Revlon Kiss Balm for Spring 2017

revlon-new-kiss-balm

Revlon Kiss Balm is arriving now at drugstores for Spring 2017 in six yummie flavors and one special limited edition shade for Holiday 2016. I came across the Revlon Kiss Balm display recently at Harmons and freaked out because I’m such a lip balm fan girl.

Take a look!

Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow hasn’t yet arrived on ours shores but maybe these new Revlon Kiss Balms will satisfy your cravings while you wait. Formulated with an SPF 20 and available in six tasty flavors and shades promise to provide lasting hydration using natural fruit oils. The look like they’ll give lips a sheer hint of tint as well! I haven’t tried them yet but I plan on doing so shortly and I’ll post a review with swatches of course.

Flavors available:

  • Crisp Apple
  • Juicy Peach
  • Sweet Cherry
  • Tropical Coconut
  • Berry Burst
  • Fresh Strawberry

Each one was $3.99 at Harmons.

I ALSO ran into a limited edition shade which was $5 at Walgreens. This shade is called Sugar Plum and is hanging in the upper right corner of a Revlon Holiday 2016 display at Walgreens. I’m not sure if this exclusive to Walgreens or not as I didn’t see it at Harmons. It appears to have shimmer! It also looks a lot more pigmented than the other shades!

Stay tuned for my review and swatches.

I did buy the Sugar Plum yesterday since it was LE. It tastes great and does give a nice, sheer color payoff. I have only worn it for a short time, as I had bought it and then went out to eat so I couldn’t really say how long it lasted or if it was hydrating, etc. In my opinion, it is better than Maybelline’s Baby Lips, but I was never a huge fan of those to begin with. These are $5. at Walgreens so if you’re lucky to have a Harmon’s you should get them there for $3.99. Although Walgreens is running their buy 2 get 1 free in cosmetics right now so that would be a good deal as well. Couldn’t really tell if there was shimmer in this now that I see you mention it in your post. These are nice but I’m not sure if I’m going to pay $5 for them. I guess I’ll have to wait until I wear this for a few days and see what I think as far has how long they last. I am glad they have an SPF in them though.

I got it too! It’s nice but I was expecting something more but I don’t like Baby Lips either so yeah!

I’ve picked up a few, (cherry, raspberry and apple), and adore them! They are smooth, silky, and really do moisturize. Very sheer, pretty shiny, and smell delicious! Bonus, no bitter SPF after ‘taste’.

I have the sugar plum and it is AWESOME!!!! The color is so flattering, it’s actually what i WANTED Lipstick Queen’s “hello sailor” to be, at 1/4 the price! The flavor and texture are amazing as well…I own approximately 8359 lip balms, but I’m still considering buying like 5 backups! I had no idea that they were putting out more flavors, can’t wait to try them!

I have the Revlon Kiss Balm in Berry Burst and found it to be very moisturizing! Now I need all the others!

I bought the peach one though I haven’t used it yet. I hope I find the Sugar Plum one!

I’ve seen them already in Rite Aid and Walgreen’s (the latter has the LE Sugar Plum). I love them – they’re glossy and moisturizing, and they have a good level of color too.

I’ve seen the Sugar Plum one before and that’s the flavor I really wanted but the one I was able to get was the Sweet Cherry which I really like. It kind of gives off a cutesy feel when you wear it and it looks very natural. if I’m able to, hopefully I can get the sugarplum one as well and give it a try. 🙂

Let me know if you get it, I thought the Sugar Plum was the best one 😀

I really enjoy your reviews! I purchased Berry Burst! I like it ! It’s my lips but way better, nice moisture . Nice taste but short lived like you wrote. Great product, especially for the price!
