I picked up a few of the new Universal Voodoo Holiday 2016 Perfumes Oils and thought I’d share a review of them. There’s still time for unique gifting and these perfume oils are perfect for a Holiday gift.

Let’s take a look!

The first oil I picked up is called Shenanigans which contains notes of Buttery Popcorn, Creamy Caramel, Candied Pecans, and White Chocolate Drizzle! As a gourmand fragrance lover this is such a me fragrance. In the bottle, this most definitely has a full on buttery popcorn note but the scent morphs completely once applied. Wet on my skin, it warms up with a delightful nutty note of pecans and with a hint of caramel. As it it begins to dry down creamy caramel becomes much more prominent and if you close your eyes you can just detect that soft, soothing note of white chocolate in the background. As it dries down further the popcorn combines with the pecans to create a warm gooeiness on my skin. It’s like a bowl full of Garret’s Pecan Caramel Crisp! Delicious!

For the Terry’s Chocolate Orange fan girls and guys out there, I present Twenty-Four Seven which contains notes of Dark Chocolate, Black Coffee, Hazelnut, and Orange Peel! In the bottle, it smells exactly like a chocolate orange! There’s a bitter orange note here combined with the bite of very dark chocolate! On my skin went, the orange is very prominent! It’s zesty, sweet, and maybe even a tiny bit bitter. As it sets more chocolate comes out but the orange still plays a very dominate note in the blend. After the initial dry down a slight hazelnut comes out..it’s almost as if you melted a slice of chocolate orange into a cup of ink black hazelnut coffee at this point. The chocolate and orange is a little more subtle at this point but still very noticeable. There’s also a faint pastry and coffee scent as it warms up and dries down further on my skin. Needless to say, it’s very delicious as well!

I typically live and die for Universal Voodoo’s Wax Melts but I decided to pick up one of the Holiday Home Fragrance Oils this time around in Sweet Tooth & Harmony. This is a yummy cocktail of milk chocolate, candy canes, cinnamon sticks, and mandarin slices. It truly makes your entire house smell like Christmas. Minty, chocolate-y with spicy cinnamon and juicy mandarin notes that have a beautiful linger well after you snuff out your tealight!

Tod has a few other Holiday blends I didn’t indulge in but I’m sure they are just as delightful as the ones I picked up.

You can shop Universal Voodoo’s delightful Holiday 2016 range at etsy.com or at www.alternativebreeding.com. They’ll make a beautiful and unique gift for indie fragrance lovers in your life!

Highly recommended and Muse Approved.
