Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial for Baby Soft Skin

So, my new technique for retexturing my skin is to apply two different masks one after another. I have fairly smooth skin but sometimes it can get flaky and rough. I apply an exfoliating mask first followed by a hydrating one. It seems to really work to remove flakes and smooth out my skin. I swear my blush and foundation never looked so good after doing this in the evenings.

Anyway, speaking of baby soft skin, did anyone check that new Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial?

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial ($80) is a 25% AHA and 2% BHA facial treatment that can be used overnight to gently resurface skin. Glycolic acids are can be fab to gently exfoliate skin over time. Drunk Elephant’s formula has an ideal pH level of 3.5 to 3.6 as well as a blend of acids that won’t over strip skin, cause redness, or irritation.

Apparently it also contains chickpea flour which is great for brightening. Interesting!

They also include a sample size of Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil which your purchase (0.1 oz).

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial is available now at Sephora.com.

What do you think?

Worth a try?

I’m interested but I think I may try a sample first. I still haven’t opened my deluxe sample sets (the day/night ones) from Sephora.

I love DE and I’m constantly trying to talk myself out of buying this. My poor wallet…

I have yet to find a Drunk Elephant product that has truly lived up to the hype. I want to love this brand so much; I love their philosophy and their packaging. I tried the TLC Framboos serum first, used for a month or more straight and no magic happened; if anything, my skin got a little worse, I think because I was avoiding all retinols (per Drunk Elephant’s recommendation) and stopped using my Paula’s Choice BHA. I then started using the B Hydra and the C day serum, which I got in small sizes from the AHA moment kit. I ended up buying a large size of the B Hydra and I’m using it every day, but I don’t feel like my skin is particularly well hydrated. I doubt that I’ll repurchase it. I’m using the C serum mixed in with it every other day, and it’s fine, but I’m not seeing any better results from it than from my $20 Timeless C+E+Ferulic serum. I am not at all tempted to buy the full size. The results just aren’t there. I am getting the Lala Retro cream in my Play box this month, which I’m very excited to try, but my expectations are more realistic now. I will eagerly read reviews of this adorable new Babyfacial, but I doubt I’ll purchase it.

likewise Emily. I love the idea of their products but so far I’ve been disappointed by what I’ve tried and find myself waiting for reviews before I indulge!

@Emily, I am having the same experience. I spent a ton of money on the products and my skin is……worse. I went to my esthetician, who I hadn’t seen in a while, and she was horrified. She said that she had never seen my forehead completely clogged with black heads. She kept saying, “I’ve never seen your skin like this.” She also kept commenting on how dry my skin was, which was weird considering I was using the $60 cream they have. The products created the most bizarre skin type for me – more breakouts from the layer of oil that was always on my skin from the sunscreen, but dryness underneath. I, too, wanted to love this brand, but it’s back to Paula’s Choice.

I’m sorry you’ve had this experience, but glad I’m not the only one. It’s disheartening when you read SO MANY rave reviews about how a line completely transforms problem skin into perfect skin, you purchase and wait for the magic, and it just doesn’t happen for you. Paula’s Choice will have you back on track in no time, I hope. I’m so thankful for PC, and also CeraVe. Quality products, few to no irritants, fair prices.

Muse! !!! You didn’t proof read this one did you? Just giving you a hard time. I must get this as soon as possible!

Sorry! Mobiling, multitasking, lots going on sometimes. If I blogged full time I’d have a lot more time to proof read 🙂 Apologies for the errors!

Skeptical about it. Tried it. LOVE IT!

Stung my face pretty bad on my first use. Next day I was shedding on area that had dry spots and pigmentations. 3rd day, my skin cleared and glow. This is my first DE as I have been reading my mixed reviews about their products whether it’s worth the price. Seeing results from this mask, I signed up their website and made big purchase. Also love the oil that came with it, checked ingredients and reviews and bought full size immediately!

I have to say this is the best mask I’ve ever tried in my life. The first minutes I applied It feels a mild sting; but according to the instructions is normal, then it disappeared so I used it for the 20 minutes suggested. After I wash my face I apply lala retro mixed with a drop of marula oil and the next morning omg my skin looks like when I was in my 20’s (now I’m in my 30’s and I was suffering with extremely dry and patchy skin, some acne, dullness etc). The second day after using this my skin is still glowing, my pores shrunk, my tone is even, my old acne scars are disappearing and my horrible break outs are gone. I can only speak wonderful things about this product, I don’t think I can live without this never again in my life. I also use the c-firma, b-hydra, tlc night serum, and as I mentioned the lala retro and marula oil. Being honest I tried the lip product (lippe) and I didn’t like it all all, it dried my lips so horrible, I also tried the spf and it’s good but I don’t like the white cast it leaves over my skin. However my favorite one is baby facial, I think they call it baby facial because your skin glows again like a baby skin. I’m completely in love with this product and I absolutely recommend it!

Interesting, I thought it was a AHA-like serum. It’s a mask? Who knew!

My wish came true: deluxe sample with $25 purchase at Sephora, code BABYFACE. This, and the mini Viseart palette came back in stock today. I feel like I’m living my Sephora.com dream!

      • Emily

I applied this mask Wednesday for the first time. No magic has happened for me yet. Pores still larger than I would like, skin clarity about the same as before. No irritation, though; I feel more tingling sensation/discomfort from the Jan Marini Bioglycolic lotion I use on alternating nights. I will continue to use this Babyfacial weekly until the sample runs out, which I expect will be after another 2 uses, maybe more, maybe less. But at this point, I have not experienced instant results like other users have reported. Still, so thankful for the sample!

thanks Emily!!!!!!!!!!!!! Helpful 😀 I’ve been debating on a purchase!
