This new Real Techniques Prep and Prime Make Up Brush Set ($16.50) comes some different beauty tools that we haven’t seen from the brand before. The four piece set brings together some beauty tools they aren’t commonly boxed up together nor even offered individually which is one reason this limited edition set caught my eye. Not to mention all of these are bound to come in handy.

Here’s what you get!

First off, they give you a Real Techniques Sponge that has a flat edge which makes blending around the contours of faces easily. There’s also a stand to hold the sponge! There’ a Real Techniques Foundation Brush as well. These are both pretty standard tools but things get interesting in the fact they also include an under-eye roller which can be used along with your favorite eye creams or even concealer to gently roll product under your eyes. And finally there’s a longer spatula which can be use to get the lasts drags of foundation, lipglass, or moisturizer from the bottom a nearly empty bottle or container.

Nifty set right? It’s a bit different but I’m positive we’ll all make use of the items in this set!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. The eye roller and the little spatula are definitely interesting items to include. I have yet to try any kind of beauty blender sponge, so this may end up being a purchase.

Neat set. I recently bought some of the newer RT sponges (the small purple ones and the bigger pink one) and I am so impressed with them. The orange one is OK but not nearly as nice as the Beauty Blender sponge but these new RT sponges were amazing!

I wonder how cleaning that roller ball could be accomplished? Nevertheless, I’m intrigued.

I need to get this! I”m a big fan of their sponges and like them better than the beauty blender. The under eye roller is what really intrigues me about this set because it doesn’t rotate at all.

That’s really neat, actually. I never thought of something to hold the sponge BC that’s actually a common problem for me with those things rolling around when I’m trying to do my makeup. It gets messy plus I don’t want it rolling around then all over my face. Their sponge is hg for me. Interesting set!
I hope more brands come up with innovative new beauty tools and products that are truly useful.

Ooo I like the look of this set! The eye roller ball tool looks great as I’d love something like that to use with my eye gel. 😀
