Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lip for Spring 2017

Proof positive that Clinique and Bobbi Brown have the same parent company today in the form of the new Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lip. Remember yesterday’s post about the new Clinique Chubby Plump & Shine Liquid Lip Plumping Gloss? These new Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lip Pens should look familiar!

The packaging might look the same but Bobbi’s formula is apparently a pigmented liquid lipstick with eight hours of wear and a semi-matte finish. Sephora says they are a squeeze tube but they look like a click pen of sorts to me. I’m wildly curious about them to say the least! Clinique version is way cheaper though at $17 bucks versus Bobbi’s at $28 but hey, Clinique’s also seems to be sheerer.

What do you think?

I think I might try at least one! There are 16 shades total and some of the reds and nudes are calling my name.

Yes, please.

Available now at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. The new Bobby Brown Liquid lip pencils are squeeze tubes. I am not a fan of this packaging because, I know, when nearing the end of the product in the tube (and that may be when its half gone) is gonna be really hard to squeeze the rest out. Not sure how much product could be wasted but, I can see myself, cutting open the packaging and storing the rest in an little pot. The colors and pigments look great but, if I’m gonna squeeze liquid lipstick out of a packaging similar to these, I’d much rather have a tube, like L’oreal lip paints or Too Faced Melted liquid lipsticks. Those are easier to get the last of the product out.
