A Makeup Pick That Sephora France Has That I Want

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Sephora France is legendary for getting the latest and greatest beauty before we do in the US.

Here’s a makeup pick that I can’t wait to arrive in the US!

Benefit GALifornia is available now at Sephora France and it’s set to release soon in the US but I can hardly wait. Too bad Sephora France doesn’t ship to the US. Boo hiss! This yummy golden pink blush was apparently supposed to release in the US this Spring but the benefit.com website says Fall 2017. Gosh, I hope that’s wrong because I can’t wait to try this one out!

I’m such a fan of Coralista, Bella Bamba, etc…I think we can all agree that Benefit does a damn fine box o’ powder. I’m hopeful GALifornia is as pretty as it looks in promo photos!

I’m hoping for great things!

Let’s hope it arrives here in the US soon!

What are you currently coveting from abroad that you can’t get your hands on at the moment?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

    • Isabella Muse

Hey crystal 🙂 how are you dear? Long time no speak! Thank you!!!!!!!!! Hopefully the March release date is accurate and I can grab it here soon!!!!!!!! but thank you!

    • Isabella Muse

Oh Clem thank you but you don’t have to go to the trouble, I’m hoping the March date is right 🙂 if so, I might be able to get it soon! xoxoxoxoxo! Anything you need from over here let me know be happy to grab it for you!

      • Clémence

Oh, no trouble here, just don’t hesitate if you need ! It’s pretty rare we have products before US (like, Kat Von D just launch last month), so if little frenchies can help, we’re happy and proud and sufficient and… well, so french in fact, haha.

Your offer is so nice, can I send you a mail ?

        • Isabella Muse

Thank YOU! 😀 You’re lovely and sorry for the delayed reply by the way 😀 Of course! Email me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Susan

That looks very summery, so I hope they release it here before fall.

As to “What are you currently coveting from abroad that you can’t get your hands on at the moment?” That would be Justin Trudeau. 😉 (I know he’s just across the border, but still….)

  • Maria

Muse I want this now. I am also coveting this blush. It will be sold online in March 21. Ulta, Sephora and Hsn. Cannot wait. I read on IG.

    • Isabella Muse

awesome hopefully that’s true, wonder why benefit has it marked as 11/02/17 release.

      • Susan

Could that be the European way of writing a date, in this case February 11th?

          • Susan

Beats me, I was just guessing! Seems a little strange that they’d be announcing a November release in February, but who knows how cosmetics companies decide these things. 🙂

          • Susan

Edit: Using your link to Benefit’s web site above takes me to the UK site, not the US one. The price is listed in pounds, not dollars, and so I think the date is indeed written for February 11th.

  • Caroline

That blush looks beautiful! Too bad it wasn’t out yet when I was actually in a Sephora in Paris a few months ago! I did, however, pick up a Sephora brand beard lotion for my husband, and he loves it…and of course, it’s not available in the U.S. Never fails!! LOL

  • Marina

Basically anything Laduree! I went to Paris this past summer for research and did some serious damage in Sephora!

    • Isabella Muse

Laduree is sinful, it’s a shame I have such a nice collection of their products but I have never, ever used or even swatched a single piece. They are just too gorgeous (and too expensive) to use!

  • Susan

One more comment and then I’ll stop, honest! I am loving the look of this blush and the packaging, since I’m a 1970s teen at heart. Thanks, Muse, for letting us know about this product because I missed any other news of it.

Allure and Benefit’s Instagram account give some different dates, and I think we’ll see it in stores this spring: http://www.allure.com/story/benefit-galifornia-blush

  • Stevee

Lord have mercy if that’s an overspray….. I’m also curious to see the hulalite that’s also coming out… (trend mood) regular hula is way too orange and dark for my paleness lol.

  • Christina D.

Hi Sista Muse! On a different yet similar note, Sephora Australia carries Zoeva and I’m hoping they bring it to the U.S.

      • S

You can find Zoeva products at http://www.beautybay.com/
Found Beauty Bay by accident when I was looking for a online store that sells the Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette, which retails for 545 sek here which would be around 60$, which is waaay too much when it only costs 42$ at Sephora in USA. Can’t wait til the online store I found that has free international shipping over 50$ will get it back in stock. I feel like the local stores are overcharging on everything I want to get my hands on.

Like did you know that there was no way to get hold of Tarte products in Sweden unless you buy it online? And we were not able to do that until recently. We have like 3 Sephoras in this country, and Sephora are the only ones that carry Too Faced, Nars and Benefit products. Did I mention their shitty website where you can only see the price on Kat Von D products, and you can’t even see what other products they have. A list of brands, but not products or prices (except Kat Von D). Which is why I have to look on your Sephora instead and imagine how I feel when I have finally have an opportunity to go to one of the 3 Sephoras and still have to leave emptyhanded, otherwise I’ll break the bank because they have to set a higher price to make a profit and because of taxes and possible also shipping.
We got Buxom last month, and UD came 2 years ago, they have one thing in common. Here the Naked Ultimate Basics palette costs as much as one Buxom eyeshadow palette and that’s 495 sek which is 56$, which isn’t that bad for UD, the difference is so small I can live with it, but Buxom…it’s a 16$ difference and I can’t swatch either of them cuz they are only sold online. I believe UD is in 3 store as of this year; one in the suburbs of the capitol of Sweden, one in the capitol and one in Gothenburg all of which will be a 4-5h drive away (6h by bus). Oh, and Lorac palettes, the only online store I’ve found that I don’t think will be selling fakes is Nordstroms and they have really really expensive shipping fees. And I really wanted to make a trip to NY, Orlando or LA this year or next year just to shop and do some sightseeing and stuff, but now that Trump is president, I really really don’t want to.

Sorry about the rant, but I’m pissed and I have to vent! ^^

        • Isabella Muse

awesome thanks S! 😀 Ugh that sounds horrible 🙁 rant away 🙂 you and the rest of the world on Trump! I hear ya, I totally get it. Imagine living here in this chaos. Ugh.

  • Barbara

    Good morning,

I am from France, lived here many years. I find it funny we always want what we cannot have. I prefer Sephora here way more. Over there, no Josie Maran, Becca, Tarte, Buxom, First Aid Beauty, etc… Imagine not having thise brands

    • Isabella Muse

Morning Barbara! isn’t that the truth? We always want what we can’t have 😀 That’s true! We’d be ranting up a storm if we couldn’t get Tarte 😀

  • lizziefs

EEEEEhhh gawd….I want it soooo purrrty. Girl I so appreciate that you are in the know for all new and up coming things in beauty. Every morning before work with my cup of coffee in hand I visit your blog. Thanks for all you do!
