Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom for Spring 2017

You remember that first time you tried Flowerbomb? Well the new Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom for Spring 2017 is apparently nothing like it. Flowerbomb, depending how sophisticated your nose is, can be a jarring experience at first mist. I’ve heard people rave it as a cotton candy dream but when I initially tried it, I found it revolting. It’s a lot like Thierry Mugler’s Angel in the fact that it takes a little getting used to. It’s a dark, complex, and unique gourmand.

Over the years, the juice has as been formulated a few different ways but the most memorable and wearable form was Flowerbomb La Vie en Rose. It was so much lighter and delightfully easier to wear compared to the original fragrance. Needless to say I’ve gotten used to Flowerbomb and even love it. Or shall I say I have a love hate relationship with it.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom is a new airy, lightweight version of the original with a “liquid airy note” hmmm…ok! As well as a floral bouquet of notes with juicy pomegranate. And yes, of course the the legendary patchouli and musk is still in the mix.

I’m looking forward to trying this.

Anyone smell it yet?

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom is available now at sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I have an incredibly difficult time saying “flower bomb bloom”! Anybody else? Tongue twister aside, I really want to sniff test this!

When I first bought Flowerbomb it was a beautiful light pink? The last two bottles I have purchased from Von Maur it has a brown color to it not the light pink. Is it old bottles or did they change the color ? I think it’s a awful color and what the price is I think it needs to look better.
