All Your 16.9 oz Bottles of Pixi Glow Tonic Belong To Me!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I’d like to share the wonderful news that Pixi Glow Tonic in the 16.9 oz zombie apocalypse size has arrived. Apparently, Pixi Glow Tonic 16.9 oz was offered around November during the Holidays but somehow, someway, I missed it. I think it’s an urban legend because I’ve only seen it on QVC UK. None the less, thanks to Linda this morning for emailing me to tell me it is now available on Pixi’s site. How long it’ll be around I haven’t a clue, apparently it’s for a short time and possibly today only? Let’s hope not. I did snag two bottles myself before it sells out or Pix decides to take it down (it’s limited-edition but hey, you can always refill it to make yourself feel better when it’s all gone!).

I’ve reviewed Pixi Glow Tonic in the past and I urge you to have a read. It’s quite a gentle glycolic acid that keeps my face smooth and soft. Be warning, it smells awful in my opinion (rosy, floral old lady fragrance)! But I’m willing to take on the scent for the great things it does for my skin.

Are you a fan of Pixi Glow Tonic?

OMG! I love this tonic and am super excited that the mega size is being offered. I know this is drug store, so I wish it were a bit less expensive BUT it works great!!! It truly is the best toner I have ever used on my skin.

I was not a fan of this toner for the same reason.. scent! YUCK! The pH also renders the 5% glycolic almost useless, at least, very little. It has a pH of 4.1 and thus makes the free acid value only 1.8 ish %! Although this is enough for some people, it isn’t for my skin and just didn’t work for me personally. I do however LOVE the Pixi overnight glow serum and the Peel pads! Amazing products!

The scent does really suck :-/ I think most people like it, myself included, because it’s quite gentle compared to a lot of glycolic products 😀

    Hey Muse!
I can’t recall if I asked you this in your original post, but did you ever have any issues with this breaking you out? I ended up hating the Glow Tonic because it broke me out a lot and I just never saw any good results, so I will say that I honestly still do not understand all of the hype, unfortunately. I know everyone has different skin – it could just be that mine and this stuff just do not get along – but I feel like maybe I’m missing something. The skincare lover in me wants to get this again, I just hate wasting my money when I know it didn’t work the first time. 🙁 I kept hoping that maybe breaking out was some sort of beginning process of it deep cleaning my skin, you know?

I did not but that’s not abnormal for me as I rarely break out. I know what you mean! I had a weird detox period with the Clarisonic where I was really oily for the entire first month of using it. Sometimes there’s an adjustment period but honestly, I wouldn’t bother if it was breaking you out. There are plenty of other products out there to try! Not worth going through a period of breakouts!

Whoa, $46! I realize it’s a better deal than continually buying the teeny bottle at $15 but it just seems so expensive. I mean, it is actually expensive. Birchbox sells a 8.5 oz bottle if you’re looking for something in the middle.

Oh geez. Felt bad that I missed this coupon code yesterday (although did get 10% off for signing up for email) so bought another one (and the double cleanse). Think I’m set on Pixi skin care for a while! Thanks for the heads up!

You’re welcome. I actually ordered the wrong size so I am trying to modify my order!

Wanted to try this, but sensitive to aloe. Per PC’s Beautypedia, the pH is wrong for effective exfoliation (good call, Ashlynn) and witch hazel (the extract, minus the alcohol) apparently is a pretty big allergy provoker. Witch hazel may be your culprit, Kimmyyy. So many people thing that ‘natural’ ingredients are less sensitizing. What a crock. Ever heard of tree and grass pollen? The most common allergens in the world.

Thank you for the heads up! I’ve been using this stuff for a few months now and love it, but those l’il 100 ml bottles only last me a little more than a month. This value size is perfect.
