Pixi Hello Rose! ($22) is one of two new Spring 2017 makeup sets that includes a Glow Booster, Beauty Blush Duo, and Liplift Max. If you’re not yet done with the highlighter craze this cute little set might be very appealing plus add in the fact it contains some pretty rose shades of the upcoming warmer weather and you might just be sold.

Here’s my thoughts, review, and swatches.

The Pixi Hello Rose! Set is adorable no doubt and quite inexpensive. I think the entire set is visually tempting and as soon as I got it I was dreaming up beautiful rosy looks I could create using it.

The set includes:
Glow Booster in Pink Pearl (0.4 oz)
Beauty Blush Duo in Rose Gold (0.16 oz)
Liplift Max in Sheer Rose (deluxe size)

I can’t express enough how happy I am that Liplift Max is now available in colors as when I originally tried the formula I absolutely loved but expressed how sad I was it was available in a single clear shade. Thankfully, Pixi now has it available in two tinted shade and of course, the original clear version. Sheer Rose is a gorgeous dusky rose shade with excellent my lips but better pigmentation. The formula remains the one I’ve loved from the start. It give lips a plush, pouty appearance with a non-sticky texture that has a minty flavor and fragrance and a high shine finish. It’s probably my favorite part of this set.

Glow Booster is a soft pinkish pearl shade that reflects almost a lighter peach on my skin tone. This is a think formula that applies and blends easily. It’s a favorable formula for drier skin types that have trouble with powder highlighters that accentuate drier areas. This texture does not sit on top of skin and sinks right in while giving a very soft luminosity.

The item I was most excited about was the one that disappointed me most sadly. That’s the Beauty Blush Duo which is a split pan highlighter and blush powder. There’s such great potential here as the soft butter gold shade of highlighter looks beautiful paired up with the lighter dusky rose blush. The highlighter has a soft, velvety texture that does have a bit of a powdery texture but it applies and blends easily. The blush side is disappointingly sheer sadly. I struggled hard to get it to show on my cheeks and applied layer after layer after layer to get the color payoff and I finally gave up and just applied a pinch of It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Blush on my cheeks to finish off my look below. I wish it was a little silkier, easy to pick up, less dense, and more pigmented as I could see myself loving this for a natural pink cheek look. Sad sigh!

The good news is if you’re a truly fair skinned beauty this might just work out for you. The set is also available in Hello Glow! set which caters to even more highlighting goodness but with a peachier glow.

The Pixi Hello Rose! Set is available now at www.pixibeauty.com and should be available soon at target.com.

I’ve had to walk away from this little set several times during my weekly adventures to Target. I love the color of the gloss, but even more so I love the Glow Booster and I really wish they just sold this item on its own. I’m nearing 50, so anything powder is a no-go for this gal except for eyeshadow. I want the Glow Booster. Not sure if it’s really worth $22.00 on its own though…
Btw…I’m not sure if you’ve done a review on Pixi’s Gel Tint & Silk Gloss yet, but I do LOVE these little gems. I bought two shades: PinkTint/PrettyGloss and Beach Tint/Fresh Gloss. Gorgeous for Spring!

am I crazy or wasn’t glow booster available as an individual purchase a few years ago? Maybe I’m nuts 😀 The sheer blush was a disappointment for me otherwise I’d say GO for it! But the sheerness of the blush kind of makes it a bust. Unless you’re super pale, in the case it might show up well! You’re the third person to tell me I need to try those 🙂 I haven’t been to target in a hot minute so def need to get there and check them out 😀 thanks for the rec

I got the blush duo in a subscription box a while ago and have been happy with swirling my brush around on both sides of it and using it as a rosy highlighter rather than trying to use the sides separately. That and a touch of bronzer and I’m ready to roll.

that’s what I’ve been doing, swirling, applying, and dusting on a hint of blush after 😀

    Hello Muse!

I have a short question.I love the eyeshadow pixi fairy solo in champagne glow, because it brightens up my older eyes perfectly.Sadly it is not longer available.
Do you know a good dupe by chance?
    Thank you!
