Too Faced I Want Kandee Eyeshadow Palette Coming to Ulta for Fall 2017

The Too Faced I Want Kandee Eyeshadow Palette was previewed on Instagram yesterday and of course, it’s breaking the Internet. The palette contains of three quads with four shades of eyeshadow each and three base shades for a total of 15 colors. It’s actually a little uneventful in the small clip that Kandee shared on her Instagram account. A lot of the shades look like ones we’ve seen in past palettes. I was actually expected something candy-scented and maybe some candy shades and packaging but the palette looks very basic with simple pink packaging.

This is an Ulta exclusive and will make an appearance on the Too Faced Website as well starting September 3rd so, just in time for Fall 2017.

I’m a little worried about the quality here because it seems like many Ulta exclusive Too Faced Palette are disappointing. For example, the recent Peanut Butter and Honey Eyeshadow Palette wasn’t quite a formula I was impressed with.

I have hopes Kandee’s Palette turns out well! We shall see. But I did admit I expect something much more elaborate, colorful, and as fun as Kandee’s personality.

What do you think of the Too Faced I Want Kandee Eyeshadow Palette?

Do share!

I was hoping to see more than just the packaging, but like you, I’m worried about quality. Too Faced has really disappointed me with the quality of their products and Jarrod’s diva behavior also makes it hard to really back Too Faced.

I wish they would go back to quality. Cute packaging is important too, but I want the products to stand on their own. They were my first prestige brand and I remember getting their Natural Eye Shadow palette in 2012 when they still used cardboard packaging. The quality was superb. The last palette I bought was their Vegas Nay collab and it was nice, even though some of the shades suffered from insane fallout. I honestly think I’ll pass on this…:(

Is he a diva? He comes across rather lovely…! Oh noes. That’s too true! Packaging is great but formula is most important!

From the little we can see I’m not itching to get it. I know what you mean about the quality of some of the Too Faced Palettes! I pulled out an old one yesterday when they were still in the small cardboard boxes and was blown away by how wonderful the shadows were back then.

I’d like to thank TooFaced for actually making eye shadow palettes that I do NOT want to buy.

P.S. I finally got around to using the Natural palette and it’s…OK. It’s an pass if, like you and me, you have a gazillion eye shadows already.

    • Isabella Muse

lol! Nothing against Kandee, she’s a sweetheart, but this palette? Blah. She’s so much more than this! Yeah 🙁 And some of the shades weren’t really FABULOUSLY formulated. They were good but I wouldn’t say my mind was blown! See? We really are related!

  • Christina D.

P.S. So Pretty Vulgar is on Sephora today with three eye palettes that look nice but since I know nothing about the brand (like where they manufacture) I’m going to restrain myself. If you have any deets, will you post?

    • Isabella Muse

absolutely will! Haven’t heard a peep about it from PR. I requested a press sheet but radio silence. Going to purchase and try it out see what I think 😀

Let’s see, pinks and neutrals, basically. Quelle surprise. The packaging looks like TF’s cheap holiday stuff, and I hated the holiday set of theirs I bought. It and the PB&H palette (which I returned asap) are what have turned me off of TF until they do a major quality change.

  • Robin

Agree with everyone else, this looks like a pass for me, I do like the Funfetti kit, but that was the first kit I bought since the Return to Sexy palette. All the other palettes received bad reviews from bloggers and customers. I wish they would spend more time on the actual product than social media marketing.

  • Lisa O’Neill

Like 5 more months to tease us about this, building a lot of hype! That’s a long time to wait for a highly possible disappointment!! I think it’s great she’s coming out with her own palette but maybe Kandee should’ve chose another company to represent her!

  • Susan

P.s. I’m only looking forward to one palette for fall right now and that will be the new one from ABH which has been verbally teased as being the “spicy sister” of the Modern Renaissance one. Swoony McSwoonSwoon!

  • Jeremy

What’s with the weird kiss butt ode to Jerrod? I keep seeing the people who collab with him talk about him like he’s some sort of makeup Adonis. Personally I find him creepy

  • Isa

Nope, not tempted. I’m sick of collabs! They all seem to be problematic in some way or other! Especially if Too Faced is involved. That aside, the product itself doesn’t immediately call out to me. I would rather get the Clover palette that is also in the works.

  • Nicole

Oh look, another slight variation on everything else Too Faced has been putting out.

  • MichelleBelle

Very underwhelmed with packaging and colors. And I love too faced, even the not so great shadows! What can I say, I love pretty things.

  • Nat

Meh, nothing I need. However, once the Glitterbomb palette comes out… 😀

  • Nancy

Meh… I’m not really wowed by this, I was expecting bright candy colors or something less neutral. Probably good for others, but I have too many similar shades already. So it’s a pass for me 🙂
