Pur Disappearing Ink Potentially Perfect Concealer for the Invisible Man

I had thee worst cold last week. I’m was just starting to shake it off and I went out Friday might with some friends, got caught in the very icy cold rain, and ended up feeling worst come Saturday. So, I had a really low key Saturday and did some shopping with friends and a late lunch. After I headed over to my best friend’s house, cracked open the Trader Joe White Cheddar and Bacon Popcorn, and we crawled into bed together to watch Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man which was being presented by Svengoolie (Sven’s the more ridiculous version of Elvira if you never heard of him before). My dad was always the biggest Abbott and Costello and it seems to have rubbed off on me a bit especially when the Universal Monsters get involved (if you haven’t watched Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, you’re pop culture life is missing something major!). Unfortunately, there are only brief references to Claude Rains aka Dr. Jack Griffin in Abbott and Costello’s ridiculous remake.

Which reminds me Pur Disappearing Ink could be a potentially perfect concealer for the Invisible Man! I mean, even if you’re invisible you have to conceal your dark circles right?

Pur’s Disappearing Ink Concealer is a 4-in-1 wonder that promises to brighten up dark circles, blur the appearance of tiredness, and if you have blemishes it’ll tackle those two. It provides sheer to medium foundation that’s as undetectable as the Invisible Man but still manages to conceal pesky problems.

Considering Pur’s track record lately with excellent releases I don’t have a doubt Disappearing Ink’s formula will be a good one.

It’s available in four shades each of which comes in a click pen with a slanted sponge applicator for application. This one is $24, available now at Ulta.com, and of course, it’s Invisible Man approved.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. We used to have Count Gore de Vol, who hosted our late night horror movies, Creature Feature, and who has now moved to the ‘net. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL45-BJJfx0 it sounds like the same kind of silliness for B movies as svengoolie

the concealer sounds awesome! I need stock in a fantastic concealer since my bags could take around the world without stopping for clean clothes.

hope your on the mend- being sick sucks the worst!

Totally know Count Gore de Vol! He always reminded me of this old dude who works at Lyndhurst in Tarrytown that dons a cape and teeth for Halloween lol! I guess we all have one of those weirdos that hosts late night creature features on public broadcasting! LOL! It does doesn’t it? I’m curious to dry! I love anything with natural coverage! haha likewise 😀 So far, so good, I woke up today feel weak but much better! Slight headache but no cough and my nose is a lot less congested. The rain was horrible on Friday! So icy cold! I think it made things way worst when I was just starting to feel better :-/ How was your weekend?!

      • Ruth

Probably being sick and getting caught in the rain aggravated all the sick germs but it sounds like you still made the best of it! I wouldn’t mind hanging in bed and watching awesome horror movies with my bestie and popcorn. or even just popcorn and no bestie, i’m mostly easy to get along with =) My weekend was quiet- I’m so stinkin’ tired! the company i work for has been struggling hard for quite some time and we were just purchased. now it’s a bit of a mess trying to get our customers satisfied. it’s been years since we’ve had raises and they were sporadic and kinda terrible before the last one. I haven’t had vacation in ages- my oldest kitty is diabetic and won’t eat for anyone but matt and myself and he has to eat to get his insulin. but he just had his 15th birthday and he’s so worth all of the tireds.

i totally just dumped all over you =( i’m sorry.

Dump anything you want on me, we’re friends. Email m and rant away my dear! That sounds like the worst! 🙁 I’m just glad you have a job! It’s always worrisome during take overs about who goes and who stays! :-/ Recently, one of the companies I underwrite with took on another company but there were so many lay offs it was positively scary! Although the lack of a raise and vacay time sucks just keep your head and remind yourself you have work! So many people without! I think we chatted about your cat a few months ago, I’m so sorry…sigh. It’s never easy with fur babies! Believe me, I’ve been through it all. 🙁 how about a big old hug to make you feel little better?! 😀

          • Ruth

(((hugs!!!))) thank you so much! i know that i should be grateful that I’m working, but just tired and run down-you know? It’s been a quite some time of “are we going under? should I be looking?” and we couldn’t get items in because we couldn’t pay our bills, so we couldn’t ship, so many lies told :/ I absolutely adore my babies and have done my best to move the earth for them, but it’s like “please eat for Grandma so I can runaway for a couple of days!”

          • Isabella Muse

xoxoxoxoxoxox! I totally know the feeling most days of my life I’m feeling run down. I tend to burn the candles at both ends and the middle too haha! Life, my blog, my real job, it’s a lot of stuff going on and I feel like I need just one second to get some zzzzzs that never come! Wow that sounds like a nightmare! Jeez. I’m so sorry you’re under all this stress 🙁 It’s a shame your baby won’t eat for someone else, sad sigh. It’s heartbreaking when you’re dealing with a sick pet, believe me I know! Been there 🙁 Hugssss!

I don’t think this is a new product. I bought one a long time ago. Thought it was meh, nothing special in my Quest for the Perfect Concealer. Also not a fan of the “shower head” applicator, as it tends to ooze out after you’ve put it away.

    • Isabella Muse

aw I’m sad I thought it was new! oh well new to me haha!

  • Miss D

I absolutely LOVE Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein! It’s def a classic!
