Rimmel Shake It Fresh Mascara Ensures Your Mascara Never Dries Out

Rimmel Shake It Fresh Mascara is like opening a new tube of mascara each time you apply! Remember The My Mascara Stopped Working Phenomenon from last week? Most people felt that their mascara stopped working after a while because the formula dried out. That’s where Rimmel Shake It Fresh Mascara comes into play.

This comes in a new package designed to keep your mascara fresh. Each time you use it, simply shake it, and the formula is refreshed and restores to it’s original texture. Pretty cool right? I have no idea how it works but I imagine they thinned out the formula which allows it to separate when stored. A simple shake will have the pigments mix with the liquid and that likely gives it that, “I just opened a new mascara” formulation.

If it works, it’ll be mind blowing!

The formula volumnizes, lengthens, and defines lashes and promises a clump-free experience.

Hmmm…

Could me curious!

Maybe I’ll never have to suffer through another my mascara stopped working moment again!

What do you think?

Gimmick?

Or do you have some hope it’ll actual work?

Rimmel Shake It Fresh Mascara is available now at target.com.

is it just me or does the component looks like a shaker bottle!? that’s adorable!

This seems interesting! I have shorter straight asian lashes so drier formulas tend to work for me. Would love to see you try it out though~

It sounds too good to be true. It looks like a gimmick to me. Maybe after I see reviews and swatches I can believe the claims.

It sounds like the only thing that makes this product *special* is that it prevents mascara from drying out. I figured out a while ago I can just buy or get free minis of mascara so I can use the whole thing while the formula is still good. I’m not that into gimmicky products, so I think I’ll just stick to my minis.

This is interesting, borderline innovative. I haven’t heard of shakeable mascara till now, and always thought the only way to really get “fresh” mascara is the cake/water method. Which doesn’t do much for volumizing or lengthening. Since the price point won’t be high, it’s definitely worth a try.

This looks pretty awesome and I hope it works!! I think I have a coupon lying around so I might go ahead and try this.

It’s interesting. It’s also kind of odd since you’re supposed to toss your mascara after three months. I’m a bit down on Rimmel mascaras lately because that one that was supposed to tint lashes didn’t really work. Plus it was runny and smeared easily. I can’t help but wonder if this shakeable formula would be like that, too.

How timely is that? I just read about DiorShow Pump’N’Volume Mascara this morning. From the Dior website: “Creates instant volume with the simple power of a squeeze. By pumping the soft tube, you generously coat the brush and soften the creamy, rich mascara formula inside for a perfect, fresh application, every time.” It’s $29 so I would be fine with trying the Rimmel mascara.

On the Cosmo website I read a mascara hack story and one suggestion was putting the mascara tube in a cup of warm water. Saline drops were mentioned as well.

Target has a $3.00 promo code, but they are sold out of this product. Not available in stores within 100 miles of my hometown. Must be popular!!

Interesting idea. I will wait to see reviews. I tried a Rimmel mascara lately — the one that’s kind of a dupe of Rollerlash by Benefit — supposed to curl your lashes. It was a huge disappointment and I tossed it, and I hardly ever do that.
