Bare Minerals Moxie Lipgloss Isn’t Discontinued It’s Just Repackaged

Since Bare Minerals Moxie Lipgloss keeps going on and off sale at Ulta and the arrival of the Gen Nude Collection several months ago a lot of Moxie fans have feared it was being phased out. I get it, I really like the formula too. It’s not a formula everyone will love as it has a minty, cinnamon taste and flavor and a little bit of a tingle on lips. But I personally love how it looks on my lips! It plumps them up, adds shine, and has a nice color pay off.

Anyway, if you’ve been panicking about it’s demise you can stop worrying! It looks like Moxie has been repackaged and has new rounder barrels that are a smidge thinner than the Gen Nude Collection.

Problem though…

The line only has 10 shades available. Sad panda! Moxie used to be available in a wider array of shades. But hey, at least it isn’t gone completely right?

Rest easy knowing Bare Minerals Moxie Plumping Lipgloss isn’t discontinued, it’s just repackaged.

    I cannot stand the Moxie lip glosses because they don’t just tingle on me – they BURN. I don’t have sensitive skin, but I must be sensitive to whatever they put in these. I’m not sensitive to other ingredients (like the Capsaisin that’s in the Josie Maran lip butters), but man I can’t use these. I adore the Gen Nude buttercream glosses. I think they are the best lip gloss on the market, but I hate the Moxie ones.

    I love the scent of this lipgloss so much. To me, it smells like a chocolate mint milkshake (but not in an overly sweet or cloying way). I see Bare Minerals still has the one I use — Spark Plug, a pinky mauvey nude. Not sure I’ll end up repurchasing because I own just a few (ahem) too many lip products but nice to know it’s around.

    Does it taste like cinnamon to you? I don’t taste the cinnamon. I taste the tingle, but I don’t know, I always thought it was more minty and vanilla-y than that.

    But yeah. Anyway. WHEW!

      It does! Kinda of a weird cinnamon/minty thing! There’s also a tiny bit of vanilla in there too 🙂

    I really loved the Buttercreme version they had as an Ulta exclusive. Guess I was one of the few because it seems to have been discontinued…

    Repackaged as what? This was my favorite lip gloss of all time. Everything else I’ve tried has to be reapplied too often. This one lasts for hours. I have tried other Bare Minerals lip glosses and I don’t like them, they don’t last on your lips.
