News flash! As you age your skin looks that plump, plush baby soft feel. If you have drier skin this happens a lot quicker than we are all willing to admit. I keep my skin plump, plush, and well hydrated with one of the skincare world’s greatest products….

Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Acid Milk is my go to for smoother, softer, plush, plumped, well hydrated skin. Ok, so you’ve heard me rave before about the original Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Acid Lotion but I actually have a very, very soft spot in my heart for the milk formulation. Truly, I believe it’s a superior product in comparison to the lotion because it’s much easier to apply and it feels like it leaves my skin even more hydrated than the lotion.

The lotion is a liquid formula and it does leave some stickiness and tackiness behind but the milky is a thicker, creamy texture that isn’t sticky and absorbs a little more easily. I typically apply a quarter amount after cleansing my skin and gently massage it in and allow it to completely absorb by placing my palms gently against my face a few times. I like to give my face a little massage using this every night.

If you experience dullness, dryness, or loss of elasticity and glow and you’re looking to restore that and get a more plusher, plumper appearance that’s brighter and happier this is for you. The formula is infused with five different hyaluronic acids that hydrate and help skin to retain moisture. Used in the evening, you’ll find you’ll wake up with hydrated, brighter skin.

I can’t Muse Approve this one enough.

If you’re having issues with drier or duller skin this is for you!

Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Acid Milk is available at amazon.com or ebay.com.

Okay, going to buy it now. Not sticky? I’m not even sure I remember what it’s like to not have a sticky face (thanks Hado Labo. LOL!) I’m not even sure why I didn’t think to try the milk version.

    • Isabella Muse

lol! I know right? I ALWAYS like their milk versions better! They are slick and slippery but they don’t have that same weird tackiness as the lotion!

I went to Amazon through your link, but am not finding the exact packaging shown here..?? Do you know if they have changed it, or is this unavailable?? Thanks, Debbi

They might not have the premium but the milk in the white bottle is JUST as good 🙂

Using the regular 5 weight ‘premium’ lotion (clear) as needed, but think the milky will be my next HA product. Thanks. I like Hada Labo quite a bit. Non-sticky. Yeah, there. I don’t get tricky with the clear, but it takes forever to absorb.

I have dry skin and I definitely need to hydrate. I will try this and see if it works for me.

I love, love, love Hada Labo and when I run out of the lotion I’ll try this. Ya know, it’s too bad Ulta and Sephora haven’t jumped on the Hada Labo band wagon. Thanks for the review!

I know right? Perhaps one day! 😀 You’re so welcome!

I bought this at your recommendation about 6 months ago, and holy smokes! My dry skin thanks you 🙂

I LOVE this new line! I use both their regular one in the morning and the premium at night. I am still debating whether I should try their cream since it comes in such a small tub. Have you tried their cream? If so, will you sometime in the future?

    • Isabella Muse

I do too! The cream is great, get it! I had planned to review it tomorrow actually 😀 It re-textures skin very nicely giving it a very smooth plush feel. Since using it in the evening, I find my blush is so much smoother and doesn’t adhere to the rough, drier area on my cheeks 😀 The new shirojyun premium whitening milk is fantastic too, it’s a quasi drug though so not something I’d be willing to review/recommend on the blog for obvious reasons 🙂 But I’m liking it.
