New Concealers from Dior, Clinique, Stila, and More!

Hello there I’m your resident concealer junkie! If anyone asked me what the most important part of my daily makeup routine is I’d totally say concealer. I’m prone to puffy eyes that have a sunken in appearance when I’m working on four hours of sleep. This means I rely rather heavily on my concealer to make me look fresh, wide awake, and perky. I do have some minor darkness but my real issue is puffiness and just tired looking eyes. Hell, even when I get a good eight hour sleep in I still look tired. Concealer is my best friend needless to say. It’s amazing what a little concealer and mascara can do to transform your entire look from sleep to bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!

Much to my delight a good deal of brands are starting to let loose new concealer formulas and of course this excites me beyond belief because even though I have many formulas I like and even a few that are holy grail status, I still love chasing after the latest and greatest.

Here’s some new concealers from Dior, Clinique, Stila, and others you might just want to check out.

Dior Diorskin Forever Undercover $34
This one promises pigmented coverage that’s 33 percent more pigmented than Dior’s own foundation! The hydrating formula promises waterproof coverage that wears long and strong all day.

Benefit Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer $20

Laneige Cushion Concealer $24
Not new to K-Beauty fans but new to the Sephora! This click pen concealer has a tiny cushion applicator that allows for streak-free application which hides dark circles in a quick swipe!

Milk Makeup Flex Concealer $28
A pigmented, full-coverage formula that moves with your face to prevent cracking and creasing!

Erborian Touch Pen Complexion Sculptor and Concealer $31
A click pen with a puffy applicator that smooths and conceals fine lines while providing a fine translucent veil brighten skin and under eyes.

Stila Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer $40
Stila has revised their Stay All Day Foundation for Fall 2017 to include a matching creamy concealer with a waterproof formula that wears all day and feels as natural as skin!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I have dark sinkholes instead of light puffs and don’t walk 5′ to the mailbox without it. Tried: already ruled out the KBs at S, due to chem sunscreens or Benzyl salicylate. Usually use fab triple duty under, eve pearl lt-med and Becca brightener. Like Lancôme again, after 20 years, surprisingly, and often mix it with Paula resist long name TM, that I usually use daily. Though I have a massive arsenal and adjust daily, depending on other m/u. New concealers are exciting AF, my allergies to ingredients notwithstanding. Have not investigated CdeP as yet, that widely acknowledged HG.

kjh—-I can so related to your comment and sense the frustration too. I too have sunken under eye area’s and unless I get filler (NOT) I have to adjust and play and mix a lot of products to feel comfy leaving the house. It’s a real pain in the a*s. 🙁

Muse – which of these (if any) are you planning to try? I’m interested in the Dior and BB ones, curious to see how these perform for you – if you purchase either.

It’s pretty rare that I use a concealer – I have a Chanel one that I purchased on sale awhile ago and that does the trick for me. But it’s interesting to read about the different choices out there in the market place and how they work (or not).
