About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. The packaging on these are all so darn cute! Definitely speaks to my soul haha! I’m really eyeing the Etude House water gel tints. Have you tried the Etude House lip tints before Muse? I haven’t yet but I’m so tempted to bite the bullet and try them out cause the packaging is super adorable and 2 of them look like my kind of colors >.<

I have, these are just newly repackaged for Summer, the water tints have been around though! They are quite nice. Refreshing liquid-y gel!

Just went on the etude house site for the first time. Interesting. Cool toned personal palette, as you would expect, leans rose, gray, cool brown. The photos of a soft wash of each color on those (very young) Asian eyes look just beautiful. Are there sites that translate Asian tones into ‘american’/Caucasian tones, for cushion foundation?

That eye shadow palette looks absolutely glorious and I think that nearly all, if not all, the shades would really suit you. They are beautiful products.

I’m eyeing the Etude stuff! I’m going to get one of the liptints just for the packaging, even though in my experience Etude’s liptints don’t measure up to the Labiotte ones. But hey, it’s cute!

I’ve been eyeing the candy shaped tints too for a while, but I prefer the regular clear plastic packaging.

I find Korean blushes too unpigmented for my taste. Mind you, I prefer a buildable blush as opposed to super pigmented one but Korean blushes are still way too light on the pigment for me. I find that I can actually put them all over my face as powder! It takes like 10 layers to show up as blush on me and by then it looks super chalky and powdery because of all the filler.

I liked the packaging too, it’s what swayed me to buy 😀 Really? I always find Korean blushes sheerer too! They always come in the worst shades of chalky bubblegum pink!
