Too Faced Glitter Bomb Eyeshadow Palette Now Available

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Too Faced Glitter Bomb Eyeshadow Palette arrives today with an array of glittery shades and of course, I’m on it because glitter is totally my jam. This new palette contains 8 glitter eyeshadows as well as a black and white matte base to use them over. Black will intensify the shades and white will brighten them! The shades can be applied dry for a glittery look or intensified by adding a little water that creates a foiled, liquid crystal finish.

Shades include:

  • Intensifying Base
  • Brightening Base
  • Oh, Its On
  • Glitter Goals
  • Splash
  • Rosé All Day
  • Fairy Dust
  • Confetti
  • Hot Damn!
  • Work It

Too Faced also includes a how-to-get the look guide for application. The palette kind of reminds me of Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow Palette which released many months ago but Too Faced’s formula looks a little chunkier from promo images. I hope this doesn’t translate into fall out. I’m actually kind of hoping that the formula isn’t overkill! I’d love a subtle glittery look but not something outrageous disco ball-like in finish.

I’m a little unsure if the palette is a Fall 2017 release or a Summer 2017 one. These releases come and go so quickly it’s hard to tell which season they are promoting! None the less if you stopped at the Sephora Rouge Event this morning you likely grabbed up this palette but if you slept in no worries you can get it now at Sephora.com.

There’s a catch though! You have to be a Sephora Rouge Member! Everyone else will be able to get this one later.

Will you be indulging?

I sent to the Rouge event this morning and was disappointed in this palette. I was expecting something similar to moondust, and it wasn’t. The colors look pretty in the palette, but the Purples are chalky to me, and the payoff seemed lacking. The golden one was nice. When I looked under brighter lighting I could see more of the glitter, but it wasn’t worth the money in my opinion, especially if you already have moondust, or are expecting that level of shine/glitter.

I actually didn’t even crack it open yet!!!!!!!!!! Sad to hear it sucks! But not surprised!

Oh em gee. I must get a hold of this ASAP. I love anything and everything glittery!

I also find myself in a glitter mood these days. It seems that a lot of other people I meet daily are as well! I find myself getting more compliments on my eyeshadow when I’m wearing glittery or high-shine pigments than anything else.

I’m planning to get the Urban Decay moondust at the next sale, I may be interested in this as well depending on how it reviews. I like glitter but I need it to work on its own. I don’t own glitter glue nor do I know how to use it!
