Too Faced Hints Holiday 2017 On Instagram

Too Faced Holiday 2017 hit Instagram last night and it looks like we’ll be getting a Boss Lady Beauty Agenda Gift Set that will be exclusively available at Sephora. I know, I know seems too early for the Holidays right? It isn’t! Last year, the Sephora Holiday 2016 First Access Event for Rouge Members was on September 10th and by September 14th I was already reviewing the Too Faced The Chocolate Shop! Not to mention Too Faced Holiday 2016 info was posted even before that.

I know it seems early but brands are all about bringing out the Christmas in July vibe!

You can’t see a lot in this video but from what they do show it appears the Too Faced Boss Lady Beauty Agenda Gift Set contains 24 eyeshadows, highlighter, blush, and bronzer as well as a colorful planner/diary. It seems like a Trish McEvoy-like portfolio they are going for. It’s cute but perhaps a little too cutesy for some and has that Too Faced Totally Cute Palette thing going on which can either be a good or a bad thing depending on how sweet and cutesy you like your makeup.

For a minute it looked like it was a Beauty Advent Calendar they were showing but it is indeed a palette. This also appears to come with a mini Better Than Sex Mascara and a full-size Melted Matte Liquified Lipstick or perhaps a Latex one! They haven’t released information on pricing but I imagine it’ll be around $58. This is going to be available exclusively at Sephora I do know that.

Anyway, enjoy the video and let me know what you think of this palette in the comment fields.

Personally, I’m a bit blah on it but I’ll have to see a better photo and swatches before I decide if I need it or not.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This palette looks like nearly identical to the holiday offering a few years ago (2014? 2015?). Knowing TF, it probably is same shadows, different names.

What happened to the TF Peach all-matte palette? I am indeed interested in that.

      that’s come! August 😀 That’s a Fall 2017 release 😀

P.S. Holiday 2017? Evil, I tell you! It’s miserably hot and humid here in NYC and it adds insult to injury talking about the (yikes!) holidays.

It reminds me of being a grammar school kid: Since my birthday is during Christmas break, I was allowed to pick a day during the school year to celebrate — my December birthday would be acknowledged in June. Deja vu all over again.

I know it’s horrible weather this week! yuk! LOL omg you’re too cute! Happy belated June bday! ha!

Not interested so far, thanks goodness. Looks just like last years, which was not at all note worthy. I have no fear though, something will catch my eye.

To me, this is way odd. Let’s leave out the part about tf holiday sets sucking in general. But, most bosses are adults. Not quite the thing Ruth Bader Ginzberg, or Hillary C. An agenda for the prepubescent set? Wtf? Maybe the wee divas could pencil in their social engagements. Pencil, bec they long for a better offer and the drama it entails. The only shade name I can read is will you marry me? Make sure those 10-12 y.o MBA wannabes have their caps set for the most popular and brilliant middle school kidguy. They can give him differin for xmas to show their undying affectionate belief that his skin will clear up before the altar. JB has turned Kawaii into a bad word! As to tf xmas suckworthiness, last year, I didn’t even read the reviews. If JB wants to target kids who think Kylie and Kendall are old enough to be their mothers, let him. I wouldn’t gift it to an 8 y.o. People used to take tf seriously!!!

I broke up with Too Faced last week. I know they’re going to miss me at Christmas LOL not!

Jarrod needs to get rid of his “yes” men/women and hire a more creative group of people. This palette, the Nikkie Tutorial palette and Vegas Nay palette are almost identical. I’m also disappointed that the majority of their palettes are sub-par in quality and look so juvenile (stickers and a faux Lisa Frank planner, really?). This palette is another easy pass for me.

I’m the odd one out, but I think the journal is pretty cute. I wouldn’t take it to work, but if I purchased Too Faced I would probably purchase this set just for the journal (and leave it at home, ha.)

However, we know how Holiday palettes perform from this brand…and I highly doubt there will be improvements…I’m so weary of Too Faced. I think they need to start over again and focus on quality and customer care.

This is so bizarre! It looks like something you can get from Claire’s or Target in the pre-teen section. I’m super disappointed with where Too Faced is headed…I can’t imagine the tween crowd they’re switching to being able to afford their products. My mom would never have bought me a $59 eyeshadow palette at that age, lol, even as a Christmas present.

Tbh it looks the same as the holiday palettes from last year. And the funfetti. And the nikkitutorials. Its too soon for holiday stuff. I’m still here waiting for the peach matte palette!

  • Susan

After the junk from TF last year, I have vowed to never buy any more of their holiday releases because the quality isn’t there. Also the juvenile cutesy-wootsy vibe is making me sickie-wickie.

Too Faced has burned a lot of customers with its sub par palettes and the more cutesy they make it, the worse the quality.
