Lorac Unzipped Sunset Series Eyeshadow Palettes Inspired by California

Yesterday, Lorac hinted a new Unzipped Palette might be on the way! I speculated it might be Unzipped Volume 3 (or actually I was having a case of the Mondays and said Unzipped Volume 2! I blame it on Monday, a bad cold I’m trying to shake, and just general forgetfulness! Forgive me?). Anyway, I was hoping for some sort of burnt brown and red palette for Fall but turns out Lorac went completely different.

Update: Available now at Ulta.com.

What is going down is the new Lorac Unzipped Sunset Series Eyeshadow Palettes. Not one but apparently three different Sunset Unzipped Eyeshadows Palettes are on the way. The palettes are inspired by Lorac’s home state, California. Each one contains unique shades which make up Southern California’s landscapes. So, you can expect some gorgeous sunny hues, burnt coppers, even a stormy blue or two.

Lorac hasn’t shared launch dates yet but I expect these might make an appearance for Fall 2017 and arrive at us in August or perhaps, if we’re lucky, sooner.

As a fan of the Unzipped Palettes I’ll be picking these up for sure and reviewing.

How about you?

I will be purchasing all three as soon as they are available. Love LORAC’s unzipped palettes so it seems like a good bet…although I will eagerly read your review after the fact!

BTW do you know anything about the new Laura Geller palettes on Ulta? I dislike any of the “baked” shadows, but these look like traditional eye shadows.

I’m eager to try them they look fab. I saw those! and my exact thoughts were, “Wow anyone who hates Baked Eyeshadows will love these!” 😀

It’s hard to tell from the image LORAC posted, but I’m thinking they might be small palettes, akin to the Matte and Metals one they did awhile back? And I love the Matte one!

I dunno, they are close up images so they might just be bigger but you might be right, since they are doing 3, they might be smaller!

Yes, I saw the updated photos and they aren’t the mini-palettes. I’m glad because I like bigger palettes and these look like a nice size. Still want all three! Heard that they’ll be on sale exclusively at LORAC site on Friday. Do you know if that’s true? I hope so!

I reached out to Lorac but no reply yet. Curious if it really is that soon! If so damnnnnn!

Wow! All of these colors are gorgeous! I’m really into the Mountain Sunset ones! I love the cool tones. I’ve been obsessed with my vibrantly warm Smashbox Covershot in Ablaze. The cool tones of this new Lorac palette would be a fun change!

I think Lorac is a bit underrated. I remember when it was sold at Sephora and I kept wanting to try it, but was being pushed to the UD line. This was 17 years ago or so. But I love, love their (Lorac) pallets and the mascara and lipsticks are some of the best. JMO.

Mountain, f’certain. Haven’t unzipped yet, and way overstashed, but like Lorac, even like Pirates! This is the season that starts thinning my wallet substantially. Hold me back…

Oh no, this is trouble! I just got the original Unzipped when it was on sale during Ulta’s 21 Days sale. I was really impressed. Now these!? They look amazing! I think I know what I’ll be using my Ulta points for.

Ocean and Desert Sunset are both SPEAKING TO ME! You know my love for my original Unzipped palette (the lost original one never showed up… my replacement has seen a ton of love). I love Lorac shadows (but skipped out on the Pirates and Beauty and the Beast shadow palettes – got both blush palettes, though 😉 ) I’m going to try to hold off until the next round of 20% off coupons comes out before I buy these,… We’ll see ahahahah

I have the Lorac Pro Metal palette and it is stunningly gorgeous – so pigmented and it contains all the metal shades that I love. These look to be divine as well, I can’t wait for them to come out.

I LOVE the Unzipped formula. I’m definitely interested in these.
