Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Stick A New Way To Mattify and Prime

Remember that time I told you about my hate for Smashbox Photo Finish Primer? Maybe Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Stick can change my mind?

My first memory of facial primer is using Smashbox Photo Finish Primer! At the time I was using it I don’t even think I knew exactly what it was for. I did know one thing, it turned me off facial primers for a long, long time after. Photo Finish is your typical, traditional facial primer that laced with silicones. It pills off dry skin like snake shedding its skin not to mention it feels like tiny ants are running under the skin of your face. It’s a formula that does NOT agree with me at all.

It’s the Summer, I’m a little shiny so perhaps I might actually like this new primer stick. What’s it do? It’ll smooth skin, prep it, give you a nice soften area for your foundation to adhere to not to mention it also blurs the appearance of imperfections.

Did I also mention it promises to control oil and shine for 12 hours without sucking the moisture from your skin? That means maybe just maybe your foundation and makeup will also last longer. Granted, it’s actually created with normal and oil skin users in mind so, us dry skin folk might not get on famously with it.

Maybe it’ll change our minds about how we think about Smashbox Photo Finish Primer though.

One can hope.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Stick is yours for $32 at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
