I don’t need Becca Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base but something is compelling me to buy it. Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base is the brand’s newest face primer and it sounds heavily but if it contains silicones it likely won’t work for my drier skin not to mention I do so hate silicone primers.

But the formula sounds heavenly! They had me at feather-light and porcelain smooth with an airbrushed finish!

Becca Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base is apparently an ultimate primer for creating a long-lasting airbrushed complexion. It’s an apricot tinted formula that contains pore blurring powders that diffuse light and create a velvety soft finish. The oil-free formula is apparently hydrating yet feather-light that starts out as a liquid but turns to a powder within seconds of application. It absorbs excess oil yet keeps skin hydrates thanks to a sodium hyaluronate infused formula.

Once applied it works to create a smooth, airbrushed finish on skin while allowing your foundation to wear longer.

Becca is it calling it “your holy grail primer”.

Count me curious!

Becca Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base is $38 and available now at ulta.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. For $38 bucks, they can keep it. I’m getting cheap in my old age!
