Colourpop Sold at Sephora Very Soon!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Colourpop will be sold at Sephora coming November. Yup, it’s true. The budget beauty friendly brand is set for sale at Sephora in a few months time that will available in-store as well as exclusive products launches created just for Sephora and Sephora.com.

Will it be as cheap as the current prices though? Apparently yes! The prices are being reported as staying exactly the same.

Has your head exploded yet?

Mine did.

Maybe they can clean up their customer service act too because at the moment I’m super pissy with them for sending me the wrong order addressed to someone else while my own is in limbo god knows where. Up until now I’ve had a great experience with the brand but my concealers are in a time vortex somewhere and I have to jump through a bunch of hoops and red tape, photo documenting everything before they send out my correct order.

Needless to say I’m close to losing my patience with them.

If it was Sephora I could just call them up and they’d get it out to me right away with Colourpop I only have e-mail access to support and they are slow going getting things straightened out. So, sorry for the delay on the Colourpop Concealer review! But hopefully, it’s coming soon!?

But for now, what do you think of Colourpop being sold at Sephora?

Do share!

OMG! This is KILLER news! That means not only is the customer service issue going to be cleared up but ALSO free shipping on Colourpop – thanks for sharing this awesome news!

I AM SO EXCITED I CAN HARDLY CONTAIN MYSELF! I am hoping they have it on Sephora.ca and not just Sephora.com though!!

  • MiMi

I am excited! I hope the pricing does stay the same. I am not an online shopper, I want to see things in person and take them home right away. I think what they put out is pretty and fairly hip if not interestingly minimalist. Their eye shadows do remind me of the L’Oreal Infallibles so I think I might skip those BUT the highlighters and blushes can come live with me :3

  • Michelle

I really thought they would have gone to Ulta, but this is cool.

  • Stephanie

I was getting ready to place my first order with them, but I am hesiyant after reading your post about the order mix up. I predict their prices will skyrocket at Sephora. Maybe not in the beginning, and hopefully not at all!

  • Emily

I love Colourpop (although their customer service is lackluster) but something about this doesn’t sit well with me.

  • Heidi

Oh, I love this. I have the Sephora flash subscription so this would be nice to not have to wait for shipping deals or buying $30 of product to get free shipping at CP. And CP has never sent me the wrong product or anything but it can take a while for them to ship the orders, which isn’t a bad thing, but for impatient, makeup-loving me, it’s sweet torture. Plus I always hear customer service at CP isn’t the greatest. To get CP and Sephora points sounds awesome and it makes me more likely to stay with Sephora because I’d like a few more deals now and then.

  • Moda31

Their customer service is crappy and their swatches are intentionally misleading. A couple of months ago I would have been excited by this news, but I’m so over colourpop at this point.

  • Chanty

I’m annoyed with them too. I placed and order with them a couple months back, it took them almost 5 days to ship it, I kept checking the status of it and the one day said out for delivery, then it said rerouted to correct address, 2 days later said delivered, I never got it and they sent it back to colorpop. When I called them they had no clue what was going on and told me to put my correct address, even though it was correct.

I got a little mad with them because I was upstate this weekend and I got the package before I left. I opened it quickly and saw the contents were wrong. My address was on the box but the items inside weren’t mine nor was the invoice. I snapped a pic of the invoice with the name, address, invoice number, and contents and I sent an email with the image. They replied back they needed photos of the box and the contents. I mean really? I wasn’t able to take those photos until I got home late Sunday night. I just found it annoying they were basically acting like I was somehow lying about getting the wrong stuff. Ok, so they did send out a replacement but now I have to wait several more days plus the jumping through hoops and documenting with photos annoyed me PLUS who knows where my information is now. Because someone must have gotten my package and that person has my personal information (first, last name, address…). Hello identity theft. Or maybe I’m anal! I’d like my info to be secured now spread across the country to god knows who! I shredded the invoice of the person that I got and HOPEFULLY whoever got my package does the same for me!

I got an email today saying be patient with my concealer and brush order. Come on i placed it the day they came out! Guess it could be worse and get the wrong persons order all together, that is pretty awful

        • Isabella Muse

They sent mine out but it was the wrong person’s order :-/ Never got the right order sent out yet. Waiting patiently!

      • Tippy6

I’ve placed quite a few orders with Colourpop and I’ve only had one that went wonky when one of the pressed powders that I ordered was missing and they did the same with me requesting a photo of the entire order and the invoice. I could understand if something was damaged but a photo of an order with missing pressed eye shadow? One must sometimes wonder about what logic some are operating under. They did send the missing shadow within a couple of days. They seem to be slow with shipping orders when they’re having a big promotion but they should be anticipating that and staff accordingly but a completely wrong order being shipped to you, Muse, is way off the mark and someone in shipping must not be paying attention to what they are doing. There really is no excuse for that.

        • Isabella Muse

thanks tippy this is how I felt. They wanted photos of the contents, photos of the outside box, and photos of the invoice. It got me all in a huff because I was upstate for the weekend and didn’t have the box available which meant more time was added to an already slow order that didn’t arrive. :-/ I’ve always had good experiences with them but this time I felt like I was somehow lying that they needed all this proof of their own mistake *rolls eyes*

  • Maria

I never tried this brand. I tried a few times to order the Yes please palette but it sold out in minutes. Maybe Sephora will have it and other new palettes.

  • KimMWC03

Exciting news! Free shipping on CP. I’d love to see CP in my local store but I doubt that will happen at my little Sephora or the Sephora inside JCP stores in my area.

  • Dora

It is odd because nothing at Sephora is at that price point. Keep thinking about how Soap & Glory was a drugstore/Target brand, then went to Sephora (with a price hike), and now is back at the drug stores (with a price drop). I am a fan — and would also be more likely to buy if I can test and avoid shipping charges.

  • kimkats

wow – Sephora is finally getting an inexpensive brand! Cool! I’ve often wondered about this line but never been interested enough to order… This may change all that! Hope they’re going to widely distribute it – it would be kind of silly to carry a cheap line, and then have it only and the more tony stores….

  • Codename Duchess

Wow, this is exciting but also odd at the same time? Sephora seems like such an odd fit for Colourpop. I’m excited by the prospect of maybe being able to buy their products locally as that’s how I prefer to shop, but Ulta or Target seem like a more logical partner for their brand.

  • Cindy

I ordered once from Colourpop and I won’t ever again. 1) Their customer service is just plain AWFUL. They sent me the wrong lipstick color TWICE before figuring out the right one to send, no matter how many times I emailed. 2) I don’t get what all the hype is. The quality just isn’t there for me. Lipsticks that were supposed to be matte & long-wearing ran all over my face! The only good thing about it being in Sephora is that a) you can’t possibly test out products in store before buying to see if the formulas are for you and b) much easier to return things that don’t work for you.

  • Victoria

I’ve never had a single issue with Colourpop customer service (out of around 8 different orders), so that’s not a thing for me. But it’s nice that it can be combined with my Flash shipping and count toward my points.

  • Pandora

Wow, this is unexpected but pretty awesome! I always imagined that Colourpop would end up at Ulta, but I think I like this even better (Flash Shipping! woot!) The only time I attempted to purchase Colourpop was during one of their 20% off sales and after entering my card information my order never even made it through. After that crappy experience, I never ordered from their site again, although their new brushes, concealers, and palettes have drawn me back into the brand.
I’m excited to see their Sephora exclusives and hope that they offer their other collaborations as well. It’s pretty cool to be able to shop for Tom Ford and Colourpop at the same place. The VIB sale will make these already affordable products even cheaper too. SUPER EXCITED!!

  • fatima

SORRY – not buying the cheaper prices thing. Look at ELF and how it used to be dirt cheap. They have skincare sets for98 bucks!?! I see their prices going up …. just wait and see

  • Jeanine McAuliffe

Am i really the only person in this world this upsets? Sephora is a luxury store not a drug store! I’m truly disappointed in this news. It scares me for what the future holds. Should have been taken to ulta,it seems. Cp is the most overrated thing on the internet with Kylie products in a close 2nd. (One in the same )

  • Tippy6

Thank the Fates that I don’t live anywhere near a Sephora because I would be in serious trouble with the introduction of Colourpop there. My introduction to Colourpop was because of babble on the internet and I purchased some of their items blind and I’ve been careening down a crash course headed toward eye shadow bliss ever since. Their Sculpting Stix were incredible and I wonder why they quit offering them. Shades Castle and Often were fantastic as under eye concealer/highlighter and were almost a dead-on perfect match for Joe Blasco orange corrector/highlighter at a much better price.

  • Kish

I’ve never ordered from them because I read about all of the horror stories with CS and shipping. Maybe the brand just realized they couldn’t handle the distribution end of things and decided to let Sephora handle the dirty work? I can’t imagine all that will come without a price hike. I’m sure they can keep it small though, given the quantity they will sell at launch. Should be interesting.
