About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I was bored with this collection the moment it leaked back in the spring. 🙁

i’m intrigued by the banana powder to set my concealer too, but i don’t know how i feel about banana scented makeup lol. I’m more interested in their upcoming Sweet Peach Sephora collection.

I am too! But yeah, not sure on the scent thing but honestly, so far, the scented TF products have been weak so I think it’ll be ok! 😀

Maybe if it weren’t yellow, but then what’s the point, banana pudding. Love anything with speckles. But this tf and scent, which has become kind of a trademark, turns me right off. plus many have saccharine added, which is an allergen to many. Not a Jerrod fan at present.

I am interested in the powder too and the lipsticks. The pink shade is calling my name!

  • Ruth

the pallet looks like a rehash of other pallets. TF has been disappointing me lately and Jerrod is a bit of a tool.

I love Kandee…she is one of my favorite YouTubers. However, I really don’t care for Too Faced products. Think I will have to pass.

The scented stuff from Too Faced is such a turn off for me. Scented things give me migraines 🙁

  • Susan

While I like actual bananas if they’re not too ripe, banana scent in anything else makes me nauseous. And that eye palette looks like a rehash of many of the shades in TF’s holiday Grand Café three-palette set last year, and that had to have been my worst purchase of 2016. Horrible, horrible quality. TF has basically lost me as a customer.

I love “banana” powders for brightening around my eyes and setting concealer……but must it SMELL like bananas too? Really, Too Faced, this was kinda cool with the first chocolate palette but it’s more than played out now. Plus I am an adult , however should i get the urge to sniff what i see i can always grab my kid’s scented markers and sketch something. They are even on sale right now for back to school!

Follow up thought….maybe if i want to smell my colors i should just go drop some acid?
