Kiko Fall 2.0 Featuring Creamy Matte Foundation

Kiko Fall 2.0 has arrived and with it a new Creamy Matte Foundation as well as some fantastic metallic eyeliners, eyeshadows, and more.

I’m most curious about the Kiko Creamy Matte Foundation as I know matte sounds horrifyingly dry but lately matte foundation looks pretty darn good on my skin. Maybe it’s the extra shine and oil from the Summer sun or maybe matte foundations have become a little more sophisticated because I’m kind of digging them lately. Tarte Shapetape Concealer was a matte finish that surprised me as it totally works well under my eyes without caking, looking dry, or creasing into my finer lines.

The new Kiko Magnetic Eyeshadow also caught my eye. Does anyone remember those MAC blackened pressed pigments from a few years ago? God, completely have a Monday moment and forgot the name of them but these new Kiko shadows look a lot like them.

I’m also terribly curious about the Kiko Extreme Lipgloss! I’m hoping it’ll be a cheaper dupe of my beloved Dior Addict Lip Maximizer High Volume Lip Plumper!

The shadow IS totally reminiscent of the MAC spellbinding stuff. Saying ‘loose’ makes me think highly pigmented and little binder. They pressed it into a wavy pattern, though. Looking forward to what you think.

Wow, some pretty things! A request: since spring is in our rear-view mirror and all I’m thinking about now is fall, could you have a “Fall Collections 2017” tab at the top of your home page? Thanks. (Also, I posted a comment 4 days ago on your “Ulta 20% coupon” post, and it hasn’t been approved. You can just delete it because I was rambling and mostly wanted to know if you’d tried any of Lorac’s three Sunset palettes. Again, thank you!)

absolutely Susan! I usually wait until Sept to change it over but I’ll do it in a few 😀 Oh ramble away I’ll reply none the less. Sorry, I am just getting through comments today after being away for the weekend! 😀

I’m Curious about the creamy foundation too, especially after your post last week. The blush duo looks amazing.

Verry pretty. I can’t believe I don’t own anything from Kiko. The only thing I’ve tried is a baked eyeshadow, which I never wear. I know they have some nice products out there, so I’ll definitely need to place an order soon.

Once upon a time I really loved the dewy finish in a foundation, but lately I have found that the semi matte finish is actually very good for my complexion. They are not ‘drying’ at all and no doubt the formulas have been tweaked a little (or a lot) over the past couple of years. I find that they give a much more flawless finish so that my blush and highligter can shine a little.
The dewy and natural foundations were turning me into a bit of an oily blob on my T zone by the middle of the day, whereas the semi matte were not.
So this range of foundation may well prove to be a bit of a holy grail one for you Muse. Their lipsticks look divine.

Yup! That looks exactly like the Mac magnetic shadows, it even has the wavy top!

I bought the foundation and have to say I really like it. It’s light but buildable so I don’t mind throwing a bit on almost like a BB or CC.
