Like Musings of a Muse on Facebook

Happy Almost Weekend!

It’s a rainy day in Gotham but I heard it’s going to clear up come Saturday and Sunday! I sure hope so because the dog days of Summer are upon us and of course, I’m so ready for Fall but I wouldn’t kind another nice weekend or two of sun. This especially the case because the Summer was a wash out here in New York!

Just a heads up a few people have told me that they get sale information the next day after I post via my newsletter. I try to send out my newsletter once a day but if there’s a sale that someone really wants to know about I force the newsletter out that same day when possible. But sometimes this can be spammy and also overwhelming to the reader. If you’re waiting to the next day you’ll sometimes miss out on a sale.

So…………….

Head on over to Facebok.com and “Like” MusingsofaMuse and you’ll find all my posts in your feed as they go live so, you’ll never miss a sale (or a post) again!

And thanks if you already do (because I’m always trolling for likes haha!)!

xoxo!

Have a great weekend!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment.

I ‘liked’ your page! I am so happy! UD e mailed me about signing up for a free sample of their new mascara ‘Troublemaker’ that is coming this Fall. I should receive it within 2 weeks via snail mail. It is different ingredient – wise from the newly introduced L’Oreal Lash Paradise & Lancôme Mr. Big. Looking forward to seeing how it looks on my lashes.

Received the Troublemaker sample on Wednesday and wore it all day Thursday. I liked it and it wasn’t too difficult to remove at night. I will play with it again on Friday and the weekend.

Okay, this is something I noticed with the sample tube — brand new and when I opened it to apply the first time I saw either lashes or thin black fibers on the wand. I used it today and again saw black fibers/lashes on the wand which I used a tweezer to remove. I spoke with UD Customer Service who recommended me to contact Consumer Affairs at 1-866-442-7531 on Wedenesday. I looked at the Troublemaker description and there is no mention among the description about fibers or in any of the reviews of those who have given a review on the pre-sale sample. Now I do want to ask anyone who received this sample, did you encounter any visible fibers/lashes on the wand before using the first time? Please be honest and thanks in advance. I normally don’t make a big deal out of things but seeing this is a product going near your eyes I am concerned.

Okay, I googled fibers in Troublemaker mascara and there are fibers in this formula! I thought I was going crazy, seeing lashes in it! Boy am I embarrassed!
