Benefit The Complexionista Is Too Cute!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Take a look at the too cute Benefit The Complexionista Palette ($32) that’s available for a limited time this season. This contains Dandelion Twinkle which is a nude pink highlighting powder as well as Watt’s Up Highlighter and a Hoola Lit to add a touch of warm to fair skin. You’ll also get two Boi-ing Concealer shades in 1 and 2 and of course, Benefit includes a tips and tricks sheet for placement of each of the products in this set.

It’s a cute selection of products to brighten up your complexion or as a beginners contouring kit.

The art work reminds me of the old Stila Girls Palettes. Remember those? God, I used to adore those (and still have them in my makeup vault).

Benefit The Complexionista is available now at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Would be nice to see them come out with a version that is more geared towards POC with darker skin tones.

I agree, but seeing as this is coming from Benefit, I’m not holding my breath till that day. I don’t remember the last time I saw a face palette that I could use.

That is cute! I don’t need — already have a full-size Hoola and a couple deluxe sample-size Watt’s Up — but the packaging is nice. I have one of those Stila palettes, I think. (Actually I think I had two, but one has disappeared.) The packaging (or maybe just the artwork) also reminds me a bit of The Balm.

Hey, girl, you’re showing your YOUTH! Girls palette? That was second generation benefit. I’m so old I had my face done by Jane at Bendel’s, back in the day that you collected stickers on a card, which, completed, got you a free l/s of your choice sent from SF. Deja Vu, rusty brown red, was my fave freebie. Btw, Jane did not get me at all and used warm pinks for lips and blush. No compliments that day!

The Stila Girl Palettes weren’t by benefit? They were those travel palettes they released a few years ago from Stila Cosmetics.
