Bobbi Brown Caviar & Rubies Eyeshadow Palette for Holiday 2017

Bobbi Brown Caviar & Rubies Eyeshadow Palette for Holiday 2017 makes me just want to buy it for the name alone! Too bad it isn’t literally filled with some great ruby shades. It does however, contain some jewel tones along with shimmering golds to create a gorgeous holiday look.

I admit I purchased Nude Drama Eyeshadow Palette and I liked it. I’m sorry! I know many of you hated it but I’m actually enjoying it. Do I need yet another Bobbi palette in my life?

I’m thinking yes.

This palette contains nine matte, metallic, and shimmer finish eyeshadows in the following shades:

  • Golden Beige (shimmering warm beige)
  • Moon Star (sparkling pink silver)
  • Black Plum (deep black plum)
  • Wheat (medium ash beige)
  • Gilded (high sparkle gold)
  • Cool Grey (cool grey)
  • Caviar (black brown)
  • Black Scotch (chocolate caviar with golden copper flecks)
  • Deep Sapphire (deep blue)

Now I only wish it was part of Nordstrom 15% off sale! Damn!

It’s available now for, ouch, $75 at

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Can’t do it. I own nothing of BB because her prices are sky high. It’s like, hmmm should I buy this palette or pay my gas & electric bill!

Very, very pretty… but $75 dollars for powder and pigments passes my personal “I’m being gouged” limit, especially given that Bobbi has been all over the map quality wise the last few years. Maybe at a CCO.

Super pretty though! If you end up getting it, I’ll be happy to see your swatches

Too bad her shadows are always terrible! Don’t know what the issue is but not a single palette I’ve ever bought from her has any color payoff. Always disappointing.

I wonder if the glitter shades are glitter shades or toppers? I had the sands palette and those glitter shades were horrific for me. They were really dry : ((( Maybe I can pop into Nordstrom and swatch these.
