Burt’s Bees Blush Review & Swatches
Burt’s Bees Blush is a new 100% natural mineral blush formula that contains honey and vitamin E. The brand recently launched this blush in three permanent shade selections for the Fall 2017 season and I quickly snatched two of them up because I’ve had some pretty good success with the Burt’s Bees Makeup Collection in the past.
This is one of those formula’s that you’ll want to pick up if you’re looking for a cruelty-free and completely natural formula.
Here’s my review, thoughts, and swatches.
This post will be updated shortly with swatches apologies for the delay!
Burt’s Bees Blush comes in a lightweight compact compact which doesn’t contain a mirror nor a brush. The blush itself has a cute honeycomb design and is 0.19 oz in size with a price of $9.99 each.
I actually expected a lot more pigment from these blushes but they are good deal sheerer than I expected and remind me of the Flower Beauty Flower Pots Blush I reviewed a few months ago in terms of color pay off.
The texture is a bit powdery but silky and gorgeous with a very easy to blend formula. It isn’t dry at all and didn’t look dry on my drier cheeks. The soft, silky texture had a smooth, even appearance that didn’t cling or give a too made up appearance. The colors are buildable but quite sheer and natural looking no matter how much you apply. The finish is a satiny matte with no shimmer, glow, or glitter. The wear time was around five hours for me before they started fading away.
I hate to say it but I didn’t really like these. I like a little more pop to my blush! This finish was a little flat on my cheeks and I ended up looking like I wasn’t wearing makeup at all. Some people will adore the sheer, natural finish but I like a little more pigment in my blush!
Eep! Sorry!
But the formula has absolutely no faults. It’s soft, silky, and easy to blend.
Burt’s Bees Blush are definitely for the natural girls and guys out there. These deliver a touch of natural color that isn’t too over the top!
