MAC Happy Go Dazzingly Face Powder ($34) is one of two shades MAC Snow Ball Face Powder Highlighter released with the Holiday 2017 Collection. I seriously don’t need another “pretty” highlighter in my stash. I have so many already, many of which aren’t even getting any love so I should be shot for even thinking about adding more to my stash. I blame MAC because this year they really caught my eye with their pretty snowflake packaging and accents.

Let’s take a look at MAC Happy Go Dazzingly Face Powder below and see if you need it!

MAC Happy Go Dazzlingly Highlighter comes housed in a stunning gold champagne compact with a cracked ice design and a snowflake embossment on the powder. At some point if I hit pan on this I’d love to see if I could chisel the pan out and replace it with some facial powder as it’s just too beautiful not to carry around for touch ups on the go.

This is a light gold shade with a yellow undertone and a pretty luminous finish. There’s absolutely no reason you can’t use it on your eyes as well as your face. I did both and I thought it looked rather pretty as a soft gold color wash on my lids. In the photo below I’m wearing it on my cheeks and I took a bushy blending brush and just dabbed a little over my eyeshadow to give it a little touch of a golden sheen.

The powder has a soft, velvety texture with a smooth, even finish on my drier skin. It’s quite powdery and does kick up a good deal of “dust” when you swipe a brush through it so tapping is required because although sheer you can easily overdo your look if you don’t tap prior to application. I don’t really love highlighters in all honesty as it feels like I’m putting a spot light on my already full, round face but some do capture my eye from time to time and this is one. I thought this paired up nicely with a matte peach blush to add just a touch of a glow without chunky glitter or shimmer.

All in all, MAC Happy Go Dazzingly Face Powder is a lovely little pick to add to your ever growing highlighter stash.

Looks pretty, But, like you, I already have too many highlighters so I skipped this. Though, I was thinking of getting the set that comes with a brush (forgot the name of that shade).

I don’t blame you! I got suckered in bc of the packaging but you really don’t NEED another highlighter.

I couldn’t resist. I got the one in the bag with the brush. It technically isn’t available at my local Ulta until the second week in November. Well I kept asking the MAC SA about it and she got one out and let me buy it the other day. I was more then thrilled. It’s gorgeous. The color is perfect. Love the rose gold bag and packaging and the gorgeous brush. I was able to use the 20% off coupon I had and got the set for $38. I couldn’t pass it up. Also she was worried because they only got 5 of them and said they would sell out the first day and she knew I was obsessed. LOL!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is way prettier than I would have anticipated!!!

As another non highlighter queen…I use Aurora palette and lavender steel, when motivated, instead of this, doing the Ulta CFX palette. It won’t be as pretty to look at. But it might get more use than my gold ones. I can’t resist most Nars palettes, so got the 4 Pan, and can still ‘read’ the surface. Fool.

I love mine, too. I need another highlighter like I need a hole in my head! But the packaging is lovely and honestly, this product is nice because it isn’t loaded with cheap glitter. It applies as a nice “sheen” and I’m thrilled with my purchase.

I’m a highlight lover despite my round face!!! I just place it more around my temples and it works for me!

But!! You look STUNNING here Muse!! 😀

thanks girl! I’m the same! I tend to avoid it because of my rounder face!
