About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I have every single one of the MUR Chocolate Bar palettes (I ordered from TAM in the UK long before Ulta carried any MUR), and they are…meh at best. But does that stop me from wanting the new Mint one? No! But I really need to declutter the ones I have and stop myself from ordering this. Help!

I’ve seen so many mixed reviews on those! Some people rave about them and talk about how amazing they are, then some people are like you and think they are just okay. I think I’ll still eventually try them 😛

Oh, those highlighters look so pretty! Btw, the pictures on them are swapped! 🙂

I don’t knew why the packaging is giving me a TooFaced vibe. I am curious about the eyeshadow palette.

there packaging and palettes have been notoriously linked to TF 😀

They are supposed to be modeled after the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palettes and the heart shaped box bronzers. They have a Kat Von D Shade & light dupe that looks like an exact copy and is called “Light & Shade.” They have their own version of kylie lip kits too with lippie & liners sold paired together. Affordable dupes are kind of the Makeup Revolution niche.

So, ya had to show me ANOTHER international site, with tracked US shipping, and a lowish threshold…lower than Ulta’s, anyway. Verrry nice. Thanks. Never heard of Tam. Here’s hoping I don’t get frequent flyer status too quickly.

The mint chocolate palette looka good! It looks ideal for hazel or brown eyes like mine. Also reminds me of the new -ish NYX “Earth palette.”

I have their triple baked highlighters and they’re fantastic! I may have to try these highlighters out too.

Oh my the makeup geek is calling my name, the pumpkin spice quad looks fantastic, sadly I spent my makeup allowance already lol…. I try to keep on a bit of a budget with makeup, but I dunno, I may break my own rule lol
