Two Great Palettes from Tarte and Urban Decay Less Than $25 Each!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Sephora.com has popped their Weekly Wow Sale items up for the week and they have two great palettes worth hauling if you don’t already own ’em! Best part? They are under $25 each!

First up we have the Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow Palette ($24.50) which has eight shimmery shadows. This is a great time to grab this if you don’t have as not only do you get it on sale but also, the Holidays are here! What better time for a sparkly eye look! I really liked this palette when it released and you can see my review and swatches of by clicking here!

One of Tarte’s more surprising releases was the Clay Play Face Shaping Palette which I purchased when it released but expected to hate. I really thought this was going to be a bust when I purchased it but it turned into a love. It’s a great round up of neutral, natural shades if that’s your thing you’re sure to love it. Not to mention love the $23 price tag which I wish I had paid for it! See my review and swatches by clicking here.

Enjoy!

Let me know if you get either one of these! But knowing you guys, you probably already own both and you’re kicking yourself for paying full price like I did!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Had been holding off in the tarte palette because even though it’s perfect for me, I didn’t feel I could justify the price. But for $23 count me in! Ordered!

Of course I already paid full price for the UD Moondust palette. I have gotten burned so many times in the past that, literally, I have not bought a new palette in about two months because I KNOW they will go on sale. Not going to do it anymore. I honestly think the market is so over saturated right now that they have no choice but to lower the prices just to move inventory and strengthen their bottom lines!

UD gave me a press sample of the Moondust palette but I did pay for the darn Tarte Clay Palette full price darn it! But at least I loved it so that’s a good thing ;-D

Sigh. Another full price palette sitting in my collection that I haven’t even used yet. This should motivate me to use more of my stuff so I don’t get so annoyed when it’s half price. lol

I happened to pick it up yesterday in Santa Monica. It was 23 in store also.

I was waiting and hoping to get this for my birthday, but when I saw it for $23 I had to go out asap and buy it. So glad I did, it is fantastic, I am loving it.

By the way, I love your reviews. You are the one person I look at your reviews before buying. Seems we have similar tastes. Keep up the wonderful reviews.

My Moondust palette came today, and of course UD previewed their Heavy Metal palette for the holidays AND there’s the Fenty Galaxy palette. After re-reading your review, I’m not sure if I can handle that much glitter fallout. I’m gonna wait and see how those 2 palettes review and see which one I need. I feel like there’s a lot of potential overlap.

Thanks for the heads up! Picked up the Tarte palette (in the store! which seemed exciting to me, not sure why) because of the sale and your good review. Have been considering a neutral matte palette and so happy I got this one (and at such a great price). Just started playing around with it, but really liking it so far.
