We all know Ulta is hit and miss when it comes to their own line of makeup and beauty but the Making Me Blush Palette, Oval Brush Kit, and Donut Fizzer Holiday Gift Set fell into my cart today.

Oops!?

No but seriously, I’ve run across some Ulta products that are fantastic! And others that have left me feeling rather sad that I had to toss them in the trash. But this year there Holiday offerings are pretty tempting.

Here are three that caught my eye!

Ulta Making Me Blush Palette ($18) evokes Becca’s Apres Ski Glow Face Palette a little tiny bit dontcha think? It also looks a lot like the six pan blush palette that Sephora released a few months ago! I can’t say the formula is on par with Becca’s but I’m a little curious about this so I purchased it.

It comes with their standard Powder Blush formula, a Cream Blush one, and also a Bouncy Blush that has a cream-to-powder finish.

The blushes are quite generously sized at 0.11 oz each (aside from one that’s 0.14 oz)!

Shades include:

  • Auburn (powder)
  • Glamour (cream)
  • Sherbet (powder)
  • Paradise (powder)
  • Tulip (bouncy)
  • Citrus (powder)

Everyone knows I’m slightly obsessed with Lush Bath Bombs and just bath fizzies in general! How cute is this Ulta Donut Fizzer Holiday Gift Set ($15)? I purchased two sets as a Secret Santa gift as I plan on getting a pink pastry box and removing these cutesy donuts from their packaging and popping them into the pastry box and wrap some string around it to give it that bakery look and feel. Of course, I also got a set for myself. You know that buy 1 for a friend and get 2 for yourself gifting mentality.

Ulta Oval Brush Kit ($24) caught my eye and I wanted to check their range of brushes out compared to those new Real Techniques Blend + Blur Makeup Brushes as you get three in this set for foundation, concealer, and contouring.

These and many more Ulta Holiday 2017 are available at ulta.com. Use promo code 508765 to get 20% off any set.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ulta’s eyeliners are pretty good, and go on sale fairly often. Made in Germany, mostly. Some non radical, but different colors. Selection of colors and formulas and stick formats. Well worth the check-out. Ulta is so easy online, that I haven’t been there in ages. Good bloggers + online access = fewer visits.

I’ve been curious about Ulta brand shadows in the past. Sephora-brand shadows have been hit and miss for me, so I feel like Ulta’s would be more so.

I’m curious and the donut fizzers! I might have to grab myself a set…
