Colourpop Feelin’ Fine Lipgloss Trio ($18.50) is a new Ultra Glossy Lips bundle that launched at Sephora which includes two exclusive duo chrome shades. I instantly purchased this the day of launch as I thought the sets and palettes that launched at Sephora would sell out in the blink of an eye. They didn’t which surprised me. Either way I’m glad I purchased it.

Let’s take a look at my review and swatches below.

Now that Colourpop is readily available at Sephora and Sephora.com you can get your fix any time you like but the main concern for most consumers is the slight price. That’s obviously with the Feelin’ Fine Lipgloss Trio which includes three 0.11 oz Ultra Glossy Lips Lipgloss shades at $18.00 compared to past trios which are typically sold on the Colourpop website for $15. I don’t know if you feel like the three price jump is a major deal. Some people might hate it, others might not even care. None the less, the price raise is a real thing on some items offered at Sephora.

I purchased the set because it is a wonderful selection of metallic Fall shades which don’t give me that Mr Roboto finish or look. I always feel like a robot when I wear metallic anything on my lips.

Out of all of Colourpop’s lip offerings I def like the Ultra Glossy Lips formula the most. It’s a fragrance-free formula with a thin texture that applies easily on lips without accentuting dryness or settling into lip lines. These particular shades had a super metallic finish with a subtle glossiness and excellent pigmentation in a single application. Some of the colors almost looked like liquid eyeshadows! They have a smooth, even finish and I experienced no migration issues with them. I think duo chrome could be a misinterpretation of the finish though as I got straight up metallic from all three. I didn’t feel they had any shift and looked like pure melted liquid on my lips.

You are poppinโ€™ in these, R2. So many hybrids, these days. Metallic matte, metallic gloss. At least they havenโ€™t gone for metallic concealer.
