Garnier Skinactive Micellar Makeup Removing Towelettes are a brand new makeup cleansing wipe infused with Garnier’s Waterproof Micellar Water that removes all your makeup quickly and easily without stripping skin that are available in regular and waterproof formulas!

These are totally worth picking up if you’re a lazy makeup remover. I see you out there sleeping in your makeup. Stop it! Get a pack of these and call it a day.

Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Waters launched in the UK and Asia a year or so before they hit the US Market in 2015. Since that time they have gained a fast cult following with a just released mattifying formula as well as new cleansing wipes. I was hopeful that the new moisturizing Oil”Infused Cleansing Water would have launched in the US along with these new wipes but they might be waiting for Spring 2018 to gift us with that.

When you have a bestselling product on your hands you’re probably left to wonder, “What next?” Next comes by dumping the contents of your bottle of micellar water into a convenient travel-friendly wipe.

These medium-sized makeup wipes that isn’t overly saturated with product but wet enough to remove a good deal of your makeup. Good news for sensitive users they are actually fragrance-free which is sometimes rare with Garnier skincare. They are available in both the regular (pink bottle) and waterproof (blue bottle) micellar water formula. I actually prefer the waterproof version as they are a bit tougher on waterproof mascara and eye makeup.

Makeup wipes are makeup wipes in my opinion. They aren’t something I use terribly often but they are super travel-friendly and they do a good job of removing makeup when I’m in a hurry to get to bed. But I do feel much cleaner if I use my regular nightly cleanser which is why I’m not one to regularly rely on wipes to remove my makeup. However, micellar wipes are actually a bit more effective at removing makeup in my opinion. They seem to capture makeup a lot easier and my skin feels a lot cleaner when using them. Garnier’s waterproof version actually removed about 95% of my makeup no problem! Best part? They actually worked well on my face! Why do you ask? Because the original Garnier Skinactive Waterproof Micellar Water is something I love to remove my eye makeup but I’m not a huge fan of using it on my face since it leaves an odd oily film behind. The wipes doesn’t have the same issue. They remove makeup easily without leaving any residue behind. Quick tip: hold one of the wipes against your closed eye lid for several seconds prior to gently wiping away your eye makeup! This allows your eye makeup to remove a lot easier.

The bottles are probably a more cost efficient option for a few more dollars compared to a pack of 25 wipes which will set you back around $4.99-$6.99 versus a 13.5 oz bottle at $6.99-$8.49 but the wipes are way more travel-friendly not to mention I really like the waterproof wipes a lot better for all over my face compared the waterproof micellar water.

All in all, Garnier Skinactive Micellar Makeup Removing Towelettes get a Muse Approval. If you frequently use makeup wipes, just need something that will travel-friendly in your purse or tote, or you’re one for getting in late and needing to remove your makeup in a hurry you’ll love these.

I’ve been using (and loving) the MAC micellar wipes. I wonder if these would be a good, much cheaper alternative. The MAC ones are so pricey but I just love using them on my face.

I like MAC wipes period (haven’t tried the micellar wipes). They do good makeup wipes but I agree! Quite pricey! Can’t hurt to try these out and see how it goes!

I’ve tried the waterproof version and I think it works great! It took two wipes to get off about 95% of my wedding makeup, which is pretty good 🙂 It also didn’t sting my skin like some wipes do (neutrogena)
