Even More New Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow Shades for Spring

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Perlina, Enchantress, and Fairy Tale are three new dupchrome metallic Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow shades that launched for Spring 2018. I’m pretty quick to grab up any and all shades of these eyeshadows as I really, really love the formula.

They also launched the shade Wanderlust which I recently swatched and reviewed that was exclusive to Stila’s website.

Shades:

  • Perlina (opalescent white, bright blue, pink, and purple pearl)
  • Enchantress (peach with bright gold pearl)
  • Fairy Tale (gunmetal gold with bright lavender pearl)

I was quick to pick up Enchantress and Fairy Tale. I hope Enchantress will be an NARS Orgasm-like shade! The peach with gold pearl sounds gorgeous!

You can the newest Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow shades now at sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. they are killing me! i just had to re-order rose gold retro because i go through the stuff like mad! i will definitely getting perlina. thankfully i hate gold (rose gold retro shows up more brown on me, natch) which prevents me from getting every stinkin’ color. so thank god for that.

How do you apply these, Muse? I got the 6-pack of minis that was for sale recently, and tried using it for the first time the other day. Oh my goodness, what a mess I made! I applied a little to my lid with the applicator, then tried to blend with my finger, and got the stuff all over half my face somehow. Removed, tried again with a brush, better, but still seemed like a lot of effort. I feel like I must be missing something, because everyone loves them so much. I want to love them too, but if I can’t use them easily, I won’t end up using them.

oh gosh! I find them easy to apply! I typically take the applicator and swipe it across my closed lid and gently pat into place with my finger. I build as needed. Really not a lot too it. just swipe on, blend and smooth with your finger, pile on more if you want! No tricks! 😀

Lucky you! That’s how I thought it would go for me, but no, not yet. Maybe I used too much to start. Will start with a little less next time and build up from there. I hope I get to where it’s easy for me, because they are just so lovely.

the ones in the set are a little thinner than the full-size ones so that might be why you are struggling a little with it. Apply a small amount and build it up 😀 see if that helps!

Good to know, thanks! It did seem thinner than I was expecting. I use the BareMinerals 5-in-1 cream shadows all the time, which come in a similar tube with a similar applicator, but such a different experience.

Have you tried the full-size versions? If not do! I think you’ll see the difference! The BE ones are a lot easier to apply especially since they are all matte 😀

My trick is that I apply the stuff right to my pinkie finger (just a dab!) and then pat it on my lid and spread it around with my finger. I find that allows me to get the glitter down and then spread out the color. It also minimizes fallout and making a huge general mess. I have tried applying a little with the applicator directly and that didn’t go well, so I stick to my fingers. And a little goes a LONG LONG way!!

Side note: these are so addictive. I don’t know why but they are! I now have the Eye for Elegance set, 3 full size ones (Ballet Baby, Rose Gold Retro, and Sea Siren) plus a sample size of Kitten Karma. I just die a little that each full size is $24. I’m used to buying palettes or sets like the holiday one, so the value for one is painful. I’m tempted with my 20% off Ulta though… but now Sephora has all the new colors! Curses… haha

Thanks Sara I can always count on you guys to help each other out ;-D <3! OMG right? The thing is I'm sort of off sparkle and I do a lot of mattes lately but these are so awesome, can't get enough of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the exact same problem! I am no novice to glitter either, I am practically a drag queen! I have all of the full sizes too! Because I am such an “expert” with glitter and makeup in general, I just knew these would be my jam. Sadly, I apply a dab, quickly press it in with my finger and my face is glittery af! I have actually been too embarrassed to tell anyone that I can’t make them work, lolololol! Keep me updated on your progress please and Happy Holidays!
