Tarte Park Ave Princess Vault Proves That Everything Kits Are a Thing for Spring

I was just saying yesterday that the Stila Ultimate Spring 2018 Kit might start a stir in the beauty world where brands starting releasing their entire seasonal collection in one kit. We’ve already seen this a little bit over the past year with launches from Tarte and Wet n Wild but I think we might just see more brands start doing this.

I actually don’t scoff at the idea at all because at one point in my makeup life I’d likely be excited that some of my favorite brands were packaging the contents of all their seasonal collection into one money saving set. There have been times, times I’m a little embarrassed about, where I hauled an entire MAC Collection. I imagine if you’re new to makeup, just discovering it, or you’re just a collector that the idea of hauling entire collection is appealing.

I’m actually not at that point in my makeup life anymore. I’m good with one or two pieces from a collection. Plus nowadays there aren’t any real seasonal collections anymore anyway. Typically brands do a major palette release ever other day without releasing any matching lipglosses or other pieces of makeup.

Tarte Park Ave Princess Vault brings together some of Tarte’s latest Spring 2018 launches for $159. This isn’t the first time they’ve done a vault like this as they also released one with the Make Believe in Yourself Collection.

The set includes:

  • Park Ave Chisel Palette
  • Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer in Park Ave Princess
  • Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Lip Paint
  • Lip Bling Highlighting Lip Paint in Park Ave Princess and High Standards
  • Chrome Paint Shadow Pot in Park Ave Princess
  • Goal Getters Brush Set (5 Brushes)

There’s not a huge savings here as purchased individually these items come to around $192. So, mmm it’s not a big deal you’re getting. But if you’re a collector it could be appealing.

I’m wondering who else starts doing vaults outside the Holiday season!

We shall see this coming year!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. this appealed to me but- as with and other vaults- i found i owned half of what was in it and wasn’t interested in one of the things. the Fault With The Vaults will always be: if you are new to a brand, you’d never shell out such a high amount uncommitted and if you love the brand, you already have everything in it!!

that is pretty and I’m a sucker for tarte, but I really don’t need more brushes or a matte lipstick
