Yes To Cleansing Balms Launch in Two Formulas

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Yes to Cucumbers Exfoliating Cleansing Balm and Yes To Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm are headed to your local drugstore for Spring 2018 and I’m already on the look out as I really need to try these out for myself (even though I tend to be disappointed by Yes To Skincare).

I wondering if these are a traditional cleansing balm like Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm? I hope so! I didn’t really like Yes To Coconut Ultra Hydrating Melting Cleanser which is essentially a cleansing balm of sorts in a tube so I have high hopes these formulas will be better.

Yes to Cucumbers Exfoliating Cleansing Balm $10.99
A balm formula that contains natural exfoliating beads that can be used by any skin type especially sensitive ones that creates a milky lather to remove dead skin cells and makeup. It comes with an exfoliating pad as well.

Yes to Coconut Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm $10.99
A soft balm that turns into an oil upon contact with skin to whisk away dirt, makeup, and oil while leaving skin smooth and soft. Comes with a coconut-infused sponge for easy application and removal.

Yes to Cleansing Balms are available now at amazon.com and target.com.

Ahck the cucumber one has coconut oil in it too! I’m literally the only person descended from island people who breaks out from coconut! *sad face intensifies*

    • Isabella Muse

lol Annie! Aw <3! Don't feel bad I recently used their Yes to Coconut Oil Stick on my face and I felt SO itchy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Sheree

I’ve been using the Hydrating Melting Cleanser (I like the fact that it was in a tube), and I’ve been itching! Well fudge, I guess I’ll have to spring for Take The Day Off. I’ve used coconut oil products on my body with no problem. Do you have a problem with body products that contain it as well?

        • Isabella Muse

prob the coconut! I seem to have an issue with anything coconut from yes to and shea moisture!!!!!!!! no issues with body products just items I use on my face! 🙁

          • Sheree

Ordered some Take The Day Off this afternoon because I’m too lazy to go to the Sephora store. Sigh…

    • Isabella Muse

dunno! I imagine so! I haven’t gotten my order yet! Will let ya know!

  • Maria

The cucumber one looks nice. I like the brush on top. I wonder if it cleanses well. Did you order this Muse? Thanks.

  • Becca

Ooo, I’m really excited about the coconut oil cleansing balm, especially since Target has discontinued Pixi Beauty’s Cleansing Balm, which is my all-time favorite facial cleanser in the world. (sob) At $20 a pop I would cringe a tad whenever I purchased it, but I bought I anyway because it worked that well for me. Yes To is nearly half that price. I’ll have to be on the look out for this.

      • Becca

Yep, my Target has placed all the Cleansing Balm’s on clearance for $6. I bought what they had left in stock completely out. I thought it was a great product too. I guess it can still be purchased on Pixi’s website.

that’s crazy! I thought it was fab also liked the double cleanse one but felt like I went through it too fast!

Well, don’t see anything i’m allergic to, but uncertain on coconut also. The meat always closes my throat. The milk: well, eaten some curries I suspected had it. The oil? Despite everyone using it, kinda nervous on the face. Got enough skin probs now, without something i’m leery about.

  • ChynnaBlue

Oh, no! Coconut oil breaks me out if I just look at it too long. What a bummer! I still look forward to the review, though. An exfoliating balm cleanser sounds interesting.

  • Christina D.

Interesting but Yes To products are a No To Me. Been disappointed in them before.

    • Isabella Muse

likewise. Hit and miss for me. I’ve found a few gems but there are a lot that disappoint me!

  • Kish

They always suck me in with their fun packaging. I’ll wait for your reviews on this. I did have my eye on the coconut scrub stick thing, but I worry that it will break me out.

  • kimkats

Imma be a little different here and comment on the cucumber one…. did you see it has beeswax way high up in the ingredient list? I wonder if that doesn’t make it hard to get off…. the coconut one intrigues me, so I’m on the lookout for it!!

Thanks for the heads up Muse – My skincare no buy has officially crashed and burned now…. 😛

I’m not an aficionado of skincare ingredients, but I am curious whether or not these formulas have proper emulsifiers in them to actually get the oil cleanser off. I had tried another (more expensive) cleansing oil balm from an Ulta brand because it didn’t have polyethylene/microplastic in it (which I avoid in all my makeup and skincare), but it had a similar ingredients list of lots of oils and waxes but WOULD NOT BUDGE even with a washcloth and hot water. So I’m somewhat interested to see how these perform since they, too, don’t have polyethylene.
That being said I am quite enjoying the Pacifica Coconut Rehab Cleansing Oil, even though it does contain coconut oil as well”it isn’t the formula’s base oil, but I still use a foaming second cleanser as precaution. It does have a moderately strong scent of cupcakes/vanilla, but I’m not particularly sensitive to scent. I hope you try out some of the new skincare product releases soon!
    Best,
    Madison

I been trying Yes to coconuts very cautiously on my face, yesterday mixed it with jojoba oil since u was at home and got my skin nicely moisturized. No breakouts yet or melea. Hate those! Hardly visible but will not brake out unless they are poked. Had them burned by my dermatologist once but some did return i mostly get them on my neck.

    • Erin

I get milia, too! On my chin. Have you had any success with home remedies for the milia?

  • Deborah

Ooh these sound good. I too am usually disappointed in this line though. Body Shop has an awesome chamomile cleansing balm.

  • Sara

What? These are cute. I can resist all their other coconut offerings, although I’m obsessed with coconut…but these are way too cute. Can’t wait for your review!

  • Erin

Muse, Have you received your order & tried these products?

    FYI, your website rocks.
