About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Nope not a thing I am not 6 years old and that’s who it looks like too faced is marketing too and I am OVER them as a brand

don’t say over yet, they have a killer Summer Collection upcoming! No unicorns praise the makeup gods!

Well, neigh me with more sparkles. Not only is it puerile, but it’s going to suck. Please don’t think you have to take one for your readers on this one! It’s only suitable up to a young ten, and they’d wreck it instantly. And i’ll bet it is big bucks. Jerrod’s only redeeming feature is Clover…the living Clover, not her namesake palette. Enough, already. Move the eff on!

I’ve seen the preview of TF’s upcoming Summer Collection. Yawn. Can’t TF make anything any more somewhere between “suitable for tweeners” and “boring re-runs”? I feel they could move beyond chocolate, peach, and unicorns and make a killing with good-quality products with a theme of berries, coffee, or wine.

I actually like it. It looks really nice. But I’m totally a nude girl 😉

They do look nice, but they are a lotta re-runs. Same palettes, different embossing and different colored packaging. I am admittedly anti-TF for the last year or so! 😉

you aren’t alone I am too! I’ve been ripping them lately. Maybe I just like the way they arranged the shades? The look mighty nice but who knows the might be just a rerun of the same stuff once I get it ;-D

I see so many people rolling their eyes at Too Faced’s cute and girly collections, yet they go crazy over Etude House, TonyMoly and other K-beauty brands whose products are just as infantile, if not more so. I don’t understand this. Is it because American makeup is supposed to be more grown up and sophisticated or what? Please, someone help me understand why panda bear shaped hand creams and Disney themed compacts are “soooooo adorable” ONLY when Asians do it????
