Drunk Elephant C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream Arrives

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Close on the heels of the Shaba Complex Eye Serum, the new Drunk Elephant C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream arrives with the promise of eight peptides five forms of vitamin C.

I’ve found a lot of different eye creams I like but I think I’m still waiting for a miracle to happen. I’m of the belief that I’m buying snake oil when it comes to eye creams. Many really work great at hydrating but I can use an entire jar and never experience any other effects. This has made me a bit jaded as well as skeptical when formulas promises me firmer, more youthful eyes while banishing my puffiness and dark circles.

Drunk Elephant C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream does indeed sound like snake oil so, I’ll have to see if it does everything it promises. Apparently the Vitamin C will act to brighten the eye area up while ceramides and plant oils hydrate, and peptides smooth fine lines and wrinkles.

Do you think it’ll work?

Drunk Elephant C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream is available now at sephora.com.

I love several Drunk Elephant products, but I didn’t love the Shaba Eye Complex Serus, it wasn’t moisturizing enough. I’ve ordered this one already, since they’re saying it’s more moisturizing. Drunk Elephant rarely lets me down. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I’m in the same boat. Their last eye cream was not good at all. I ordered this one even though I am very happy with the IS Clinical eye serum I’m using. I do love DE’s products. Hoping this one is decent. Always searching for my unicorn eye cream… <3

Tina, let us know how it goes ;-D I’d be curious to see if it turns out well!

Michelle, any updates? 😉 Do you have usually dry undereye? C

  • Susan

I’m intrigued. It sounds like a good mix of ingredients. Plus, the plant oils sound nice. I find that lightly applying argan oil in my undereye area at night helps with my fine lines.

    • Isabella Muse

I do the same! I used to use argan oil now I use Etude House’s multi-oil! It helps a lot! I always say that moisture makes finer lines look WAY better!

My current eye combo is from Ulta…the Nooni (you turned me on) 3 in 1 serum, brighten up…has a 4 ball roller and is not annoying, with the newish philosophy ultimate miracle worker fix over. Good for me, but i’m Oily, so it might not be enough for you. Good luck.

I will keep a close lookout for a deluxe sample offering, but I do not think I will purchase it. I’m using their Shaba now, and I’ll finish it up, but I’ve been using it for a while and can’t see the benefit. I want to love DE, as I love their philosophy and packaging, but none of their products have worked the miracles I’ve expected from them.

likewise. I didn’t buy Shaba because I had a feeling it wouldn’t be great and reviews confirmed my initial thoughts.

I’m like you as far as eye creams go. No matter what they promise, if I can get my under eye area hydrated I feel it’s a good cream. I got the Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream and it does hydrate…but nothing else. But there HAS to be something out there! Maybe this is it.

Have you tried Paula’s Choice eye cream? I got a sample and am liking it. I think it as peptides and Shea Butter in it and it really does a good job of hydrating that area.

    • cristina

Did your Paula’s Choice smell really bad? I got two samples and they both did smell rancid. I honestly could not even finish the one sample. C

WOW…that’s a lot of ingredients in 0.5oz. I’m going to stick with the Tatcha Revitalizing Eye cream when I wear makeup …it really surpasses everything that I’ve tried, and a little goes a long way when patted in sparingly..lol! I also use the eye mask on special occasions. Fine lines will never really go away, but they sure as heck disappear when it matters! I’ve been getting into K-Beauty skin care, and right now I’m trying an eye cream and an eye serum from Whamisa as part of my morning regimen when I don’t have to wear makeup that day. Lots of hydration, which is all we need to keep those fine lines in check! Keep hydrating ladies…and try to stay away from anything with Mineral Oils, Parabens, Sulfate Detergents, Synthetic dyes & fragrances!
