I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Dear everyone, we need the new Pretty Vulgar Phoenix Rising Eyeshadow Palette! Since Spring 2017 launch, Pretty Vulgar as been pretty quiet but for Spring 2018 they have introduced this stunning new palette.

This warm palette contains some gorgeous fiery shades of color paired up with plums. I know I have so many of these shades but they jive so beautifully in this palette I could see myself picking it up. I purchased the one of the Pretty Vulgar Eyeshadow Palette on the original release and I had fairly good success with the formula and texture of the shadows so I expect more of the same with this one.

Shades include:

  • Untamable (golden champagne)
  • Always Rising (peachy nude)
  • Slay (shimmering golden peach)
  • Fierce Desire (copper)
  • Is Fire (deep dusty orange)
  • My Ash (warm soft brown)
  • Light My Fire (medium rusty brown)
  • Seduction Reborn (burnt red)
  • Resurrected Sin (ruby red)
  • Devilish Darling (red violet)
  • Blowing Smoke (burgundy)
  • Fly by Night (deep plum)

The Pretty Vulgar Phoenix Rising Eyeshadow Palette is $35 and available now at sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I was pleasantly surprised to see this yesterday so I added it to my Sephora mega-haul. I liked the 3 palettes Pretty Vulgar originally released and this color combo, perhaps not unique any longer, is beautiful!

An added bonus for this punk rocker: every time I hear the brand name, I get the Sex Pistols’ “Pretty Vacant” playing in my head! Now THAT would be a great brand name if I ever decide to launch my own line. 😉

These look so pretty Muse. I do not need another palette. Do you know if this palette or other Pretty vulgar palettes are made in USA or in China. Thanks.

Feel overduped in stash to indulge for eyes, but got a darker mauve blush that is decent from P V. Did not depot easily. Do you know how many wags asked me if I had started a line, bec i’m well known for being (beyond) pretty vulgar? PV is Kendo, right? Think this is a safe enough pick for anyone who is not full up on these shades.
