L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted Fruit-Scented Eyeshadow Palette & Blush Launches

L’Oreal Colour Riche Paradise Enchanted Eyeshadow Palette and L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted Fruit-Scented Blush might just bring memories of Too Faced’s Sweet Peach and Peaches & Cream Collection.

Seems like scented makeup is becoming a thing for the Spring/Summer 2018 season as Maybelline recently launched lemonade-scented palette as well. Considering the two brands belong to the same family, Lancome, it wouldn’t surprise me if we see even more brands starting to do collections like this.

The L’Oreal Paradise Enhcnated Fruit-Scented Collection is pre-booking at amazon.com right now and arrives officially on May 15th. I’ve discussed how hard it is finding drugstore makeup lately due to the fact that much of it launches at Amazon first. If these launch May 15th on Amazon’s website I do wonder at what point when they will officially get to drugstores. The Maybelline Burgundy Bar Palette also got an early launch at Amazon as well as the Maybelline Lemonade Crazy Palette I was discussing above. I suspect that we won’t see any of these in stores until June at least. Don’t get me wrong, I’m above all else an avid online shopper but I do really like heading into the drugstore to see what’s new and I’m all disappointed that I can’t find very much at all anymore at some of my favorite stores like Harmons.

None the less, I did order this collection from Amazon and I’m curious to see how the formula turns out. The collection is an obvious nod to Too Faced’s obsession with peaches but the shades seem a little lighter in the eyeshadow palette in comparison. Hopefully the blushes turn out lovely since I wasn’t terribly impressed with the Too Faced Peach My Cheeks Melting Powder Blush.

L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted Fruit-Scented Blush is available in four warm shade selections for $10.99 each. The shade range go from subtle peach to warmer apricots and pops of coral and pink. Each blush is infused with a fruit scent which I imagine might be peachy we’ll have to wait and see!

Along with the blushes there’s a new L’Oreal Colour Riche Paradise Enchanted Eyeshadow Palette ($11.99) that’s also scented and includes 12 shades with a guide to create four different looks on the back of the palettes. I hope I’m wrong about this but the shades do appear more lighter and subtle than those we’ve seen from Too Faced. I’m hoping for richer peachier shades but these look a bit softer.

I dunno about you but L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted Fruit-Scented Collection has me excited. I hope it surprises me with a great formula.

L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted Fruit-Scented Collection is available to pre-book now at amazon.com and ulta.com.

It looks like there are two Bashful blushes but they look different?

    • Isabella Muse

it seems like one is a little more pink! Or maybe the promo images are way off 😀

      • Kimmwc03

Glad you confirmed the different color. I thought my new med was messing with me! 🙂

        • Isabella Muse

no it isn’t you because I had to squint at it too lol!

      • Jane

You have two Bashfuls, Muse! I believe one should be a “Just Curious”? I may be wrong.

  • Agona

I think scented makeup is kind of risky. You have people who stay away from fragrances and people who are picky about scent. For example, I love the vanilla smell in tarte’s Make Believe in Yourself palette but hate Too Face’s overly chocolatey scent (tarte’s sweet scent that is suppose to be chocolate just smells subtly sweet to me so it’s okay). I have Kiko’s baked blushes from the Arctic Holiday collection that are supposed to smell like “ginger and spice” but they just smell make-up-y to me. Weird part is, I loved Bonnie Bell as a 90s teen.

    • Isabella Muse

ITA. I find the idea novel and I don’t mind it at all but some people will be quickly put off by scented makeup. I know people that avoid Guerlain because of the scent which boggles my mind as I love it. By the way, I didn’t like those were supposed to smell line ginger and spice! I didn’t smell anything! Like you said, they smell makeup-y!

      • Agona

Hahaha, I thought I was crazy. I kept smelling it really hard. Several times! Ended up with blush on my nose. LOL

  • Agona

Also, with the new Milani palette, are square 12-pans the thing now? I noticed drugstores were favoring long rectangular shapes a la Naked palettes but I’m noticing a trend more towards square palettes now.

    • Isabella Muse

I noticed that too!!!!!!! I don’t mind because I like the way they store better than the rectangle ones 😀

      • Agona

I agree!! I also keep the boxes from my round tarte palettes. Because round in storage…just doesn’t work for me!

        • Isabella Muse

I find those trays from places like the container store or bed, bath and beyond to store flatware in are great for holding round compacts upright

  • Maria

The blushes look pretty. I read Amazon reviews and some people complained that their powdered makeup items from other brands arrived broken. Amazon places the items loosely in the box without any type of bubble wrap or other protection.

  • Dee

Hi Muse! Just checked on Amazon’s website on these blush names. There is a number 192 -Just Curious, which looks like a light peachy-orange shade? And yes, I also pre-ordered that palette. I’m gonna wait on swatches for the blushes tho.

    • Isabella Muse

oh hell! My image is wrong lol! thanks Dee ;-D gotta correct that!

      • Dee

lol. No problem at all Muse. You’re quite welcome. I was wondering why two had the same names if they were different colors? 🙂

          • Dee

lol– happens to us all (more often than not, on my end). There are times I feel like I should play a role on The Walking Dead,,tho I wouldn’t be ‘acting’ the role. 😛

          • Isabella Muse

I’m no good until the evening comes. I’m just not a day person ;-D LOL I’d be a great zombie! Just get me up out of bed early in the AM and presto! Zombie!

  • Jane

Pass on the palette. It’s too warm and doesn’t offer some of the shades I was interested in in the Maybelline Lemonade palette.

Those blushes give me an interested pause, however.

  • Carol G

Dang it, speaking of the Burgundy Bar by Maybelline, I went to order it and of course it’s out of stock.
I will most likely get one of these blushes but the palette is sort of similar to the Maybelline lemonade one which I already ordered so I’m on the fence with that one.

  • Jules

Oooh, I look forward to seeing a review of these! Those blushes…I’m having flashbacks to the fruity scented Blush Delices (I think that’s what they were called) from many years ago. They were wonderful. I hope these are the same quality.

    • Isabella Muse

I don’t remember those being scented! I think I might still have them haha!

  • Adrienne

These look worth trying. I don’t know much about formulations but adding scents or fragrance probably adds all the ingredients people don’t want? Muse were you able to find the chocolate lipped from loreal since they have moved on to another launch in the last month? I got them all at Target. I tried the darkest color brown and I can say it wouldn’t come off. I even used my Milani lip scrub and it wouldn’t budge. Be committed if you put it on
    🙂

    • Isabella Muse

Mostly it has to do with sensitivities to scent I think! I did! I didn’t get any though because they all looked really, really pale or too dark. I was worried I’d have zombie lips! and now you’re scaring me further with that intense wear lol! I do not need my lipstick to wear that long haha!

    • kjh

yeah, like limonene, linalool, geraniol, eugenol…..all of which, despite most being ‘natural derivatives’ a la Burt’s Bees originals, are not really skin friendly. Paula would be convulsing. I have/had a chronic/colonized staph A infection, and could not tolerate the Burt’s Bees. Stung and pulsed. Now I can. But that does not mean that I think I will abandon trying to avoid sensitizing scent in m/u. Bath products are a whole different story. Different strokes for different folks. One possible ingredient is sodium saccharine, which should be avoided at all cost, if you are allergic to sulfa drugs. It can bring on a very nasty reaction.

  • Kish

This is really pretty, I may have to give it a try. I remember when L’oreal LE palettes used to be awesome quality. Also, I have always really liked their blushes, so I may get one or two. I am kind of annoyed that everything is going Amazon first though. I guess that’s the way of the future lol.

  • Maria

I like subtle fragrances in my products-lipstick, powders ( not on eye products), etc -I am not sensitive to them. I wasn’t even into the peach craze, even though I have the Too Faced peach powder.
But I would like to see more adult fragrances, like Iris or violet or rose. Not tutti frutti I see everywhere. I feel the companies either offer bubble gum flavors or bath and body works
The colors are tempting to buy, the fragrance L’Oreal selected will keep me away. It has the money to invest in better scents. Savings for me:)
Thank you for showing the pictures

    • Isabella Muse

I totally understand. I actually like the cutesy stuff but I get you! A few sophisticated gourmands and florals wouldn’t go amiss 😀 My pleasure Maria!

  • Diane Wilson

Anyone noticed that the L’Oréal Fruit Scented eyed pallet disappeared from Amazon?

    • Isabella Muse

Maybe it sold out? I see the blushes still there but the palette indeed disappeared!

      • Diane Wilson

Yep…so weird…had it saved to my wishlist and went to purchase today and it’s gone…no pic of it to be found. Better purchase my two blushes today before they disappear…

          • Diane Wilson

Yes! This is making me feel less than “peachy” lol…hope you receive yours, so I can at least see what I am missing…

          • Isabella Muse

awww I feel bad it disappeared. Don’t worry though I’m positive it’ll pop up at Ulta and other drugstores ;D

  • Dee
