Smashbox + Vlada Prismatic Pearl Petal Metal Highlighter Sephora Exclusive

Smashbox + Vlada Prismatic Pearl Petal Metal Highlighter is available today as a Sephora Exclusive at sephora.com. As you know, the Smashbox Petal Metal Highlighter launched in two shades last week which are both available at Ulta.com but Sephora got dibs on an exclusive shade called Prismatic Pearl.

Now, I’m not a highlighter girl by any means as I’ve said time and time again but I admit I ordered both of the original shades when they launched at Ulta thanks to that 20% off coupon. I’m quite excited to try them out! And I’m being good and not picking up Prismatic Pearl until I try the two that are on their way to me.

The good news is, if you’re a Sephora BI Member your 15% off starts on April 20% and maybe you can score this highlighter at a discount! The shade is called a iridescent rose gold but it looks like a duochrome with some reddish shifting. But it’s hard to say as promo images are terrible representations of a color.

Smashbox + Vlada Prismatic Pearl Petal Metal Highlighter is available now at sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Oh my, this is gorgeous! But I broke up with Sephora, so what’s a girl to do? Imagine using that as an eyeshadow! Decisions, decisions…

So much to choose from and I’m liking the rose gold, this trend comes back every year. I bought a rose gold watch last year when I saw how complimentary it is on all skin tones. Hope the makeup is as wearable

This is so gorgeous. But I’m wondering if I’m just too fair for it. The champagne colored one is kind of pointless, because I have champagne highlighters to last for the next several years. This one interests me but I worry I’m not the target audience. Wish I could test in person before I buy. I also wonder if it’s got an overspray on it or if they’ve been creative with the photo editing. What do you think?

I do wonder about the over spray as well! I think it might be safe to say they do have some sort of glossy over spray that gives it a sheen but I do think there’s plenty of shimmer to be had regardless! I was worried too! it looks almost like it has red or cranberry to it and that might look muddy on me! I’m going to test the ones I got from Ulta first before I decide if I need this one too!

      Hi!
So, I am fair to light, but use facial self-tanner in summer, and am going to try the Prismatic highlighter for blush, as one post suggested, but also on my eyes. It advertises as safe for eyes, which will give us light complexion girls another option. Hoping that will work..! And I agree, most of us have plenty of champagne highlighters already! Love your site!

I went to buy this and I can’t find it. I used your link and it said product not carried. I searched for it on my own and couldn’t find it. I am SO bummed. 🙁
