Urban Decay Beached Eyeshadow Palette Has All The Bronze and Aqua Shades for Your Eyes This Summer!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I literally just got my hands on the new, limited edition Urban Decay Beached Eyeshadow Palette ($34) today as the brand sent me over a sample of the palette and it looks rather stunning.

If beach-y bronzes and aquatic eyeshadow pairings are your thing you’re bound to love this palette.

All eight shades in the palette are brand new and inspired by the landscape and warm, sunny vibes of Southern California beaches.

I updated this post with the new eyeliners, lipsticks, and bronzers as well here’s a look!

Shades included in the palette:

  • Salt (ivory satin)
  • Heatwave (metallic rust)
  • 16th St. (metallic bronze-gold)
  • Plunge (deep metallic blue-green)
  • Blaze (light metallic peach with pink shift)
  • Daybreak (deep reddish terra-cotta matte)
  • Double Dip (bright metallic teal)
  • Wedge (deep metallic brown-copper)

I haven’t swatched it yet but it appear quite velvety and the colors are very rich looking. I’m eager to try it out. One of the looks created on the promo model is an all over lid bronze look with one of the aqua shades smudged on her lash line. Wonder if I can re-create that!

Along with the palette there are two new Beached 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in the following shades:

  • Lucky (metallic burnt orange)
  • Goldmine (gold shimmer with gold micro-sparkle)

There are also three Urban Decay Beached Vice Lipstick shades in the following shades:

  • Tower 1 (shifty metallic peach)
  • Heatwave (metallic rust)
  • 100 Degrees (bright coral-pink)

And finally the Urban Decay Beach Bronzer ($30) returns in the following shades:

  • Sun-Kissed (matte light-medium bronzer)
  • Bronzed (matte medium-dark bronzer)

Urban Decay Beached Collection is available at Ulta.com today!

I’ll share my thoughts, review, and swatches soon!

P.S. I guess it’s safe to say the Summer Collections are going to start coming at us fast and furious now!

This palette makes me WANT to start using blues and aquas this summer. It’s screaming at me! I might have to snag this one.

Side note – got my Dreamsicle, and ALMOST returned it immediately. BUT I gave it a shot today, over Becca Tigerlilly (another product that just collects dust in my collection because I never gave the bright color a chance even though I HAD to have it when it was released) and I really love the combo! I went really light handed with the highligher and they are beautiful together. I actually got 3 comments on my makeup this morning from coworkers. I’m also dipping my toe into the Fenty foundation and it’s really working well with my oily skin.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! that sounds great! And still I haven’t used it. I felt sort of bad about the purchased when I opened my box since the highlighter looked chalky and too light! now I need to crack mine open ;-D I got busy and didn’t get a sec to swatch and try it. Sorry about that by the way ;-D And agreed on the blues and aquas for Summer 😀

  • Maria

I love these shades. They are so pretty. I am tempted to buy it but I want to wait for swatches and your review. I hope quality is not like Backtalk palette. I returned that one. I wonder when will the new release date be?

    • Isabella Muse

god I hope it isn’t! Backtalk was a disappointment for me! so far Ulta has it available now! Not sure when it will launch everywhere else!

      • Susan

These aren’t really my shades but they’re so beachy and summery that I want them anyway. But I’ll wait on your review. Please show us several looks with the palette because you do some great ones. I’m still sad that the Backtalk palette was such a disappointment and I didn’t want to waste my money on it.

An aside: So… I’m at the Ulta web site looking at new releases and saw a new palette from Model’s Own called Cheat Day. WTH? Who on earth thought this was a good idea? It’s supposed to be doughnuts but all I see is eight breasts staring up at me from the pan. =8~O

        • Isabella Muse

omg! thank you! flattered!!!! Most days I can’t blend for crap ;-D I am too, it had such lovely shades! 🙁 did you end up buying it? LOL I’m going to look now!!!!!!!!

          • Susan

No, I didn’t get Backtalk, although I’d been looking forward to it. Just too many bad reviews. If it was half-price, I might consider it.

Is that Cheat Day palette THE WORST, or what?!? LOL

          • Isabella Muse

🙁 Such a darn shame about it. LOL it’s ironic that it’s sort of cute when the palette is closed with the cute donuts but open oh noes!

        • Tegan

I had to check out the website and you’re definitely right. That was a poor design choice. They could have made the pans look like doughnuts and the shadow itself the frosting… I have to admit I’m giggling like crazy though.

        • Melissa Scott

I’m dying because earlier i showed my son who’s if age. I said “what does this like”? He replied…”boobs”! Yeesss! WTH were they thinking?

  • Kay

Oooh, eagerly awaiting your review Muse!

Do I need another UD palette? Er, no. When was the last time I used the ones I already have? Who knows! But I still want this one. I’ve been eyeing up the Smashbox trio in “On Location” for my beach/blue theme this summer so there might be a face off!

  • Kish

I’m drawn to this, but I feel like I have a ton of palettes just like it. Nude with a blue or teal. I’m sure I can pass. But I look forward to your swatches because you never know, you’ve made me change my mind before 🙂

  • Carol G

I love these colors! But like the others I’m hesitant to buy it because of how crappy backtalk was. I was so excited for backtalk but after seeing the horrible reviews I skipped it. I hope UD redeemed themselves with this one.

  • kjh

I also immediately thought about my ire over Backtalk. Also, bronzes with aquas have been such a staple of EL summer and VS, when they had m/u, which I miss, seems un-new. The blues look better, though. Speaking of VS, off to check the boob palette on Ulta.

  • mylinda

I really like the way this looks! Was ready to jump in but Ulta out of stock 🙁 I guess I’ll wait for your review and swatches. I’m not big on blue but somehow this just looks so enticing.

  • Tegan

What?! Another thing I need but can’t afford? Damn you, UD! Part of me hopes this is a flop just so I can justify not buying it, but those shades…

    • Susan

Wow, I saw some live swatches of Beached last night and these shadows look gorgeous and mostly highly pigmented. I’m OK with it selling out already, though, so I’ll be forced to wait for reviews. Patience…. patience…

p.s. Glad others are getting a laugh out of Les Boobs Palette. Who is the target demographic for that, preteen boys?!? 😀

  • Molly

Lucky is back????!!!!! *Runs around like a chicken with head cut off while sobbing from happiness****

  • Chris

The Lucky eyepencil I see is a re-release. I wonder how similar in color it is to Lancôme ‘s Drama Liqui Pencil In Cuivre shade. The Macy’s Urban Decay Impulse kiosk saleshelp had no idea about this summer collection coming.
