Caress Botanicals Shower Foam are starting to hit drugstores and of course, I had to grab them all because I must making foaming anything mine. I have a slight addiction to anything that foams! Facial cleanser, primer, conditioner, if it foams I want in on it!

I dunno where the odd obsession comes from but I just like foaming skincare. Dove actually did a shower foam last year I believe it was and I totally loved it. I was pretty hyped that Caress also got in on the trend because everyone knows that Caress needs to do some sort of exotic perfume line. Their shower gels smell incredible. Why aren’t they cashing in on that and creating an entire body and fragrance collection!?!?

Caress Botanicals Shower Foam is available in three scents all of which aren’t exactly the normal exotic floral fragrances that Caress typically goes for. The fragrances remind me of the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Toilette Collection. These are botanical blends that have earthy, green herbally notes combined with subtle floral ones. One of my favorites from the line is Midnight Iris & Vanilla Bean which smells a little like Guerlain Météorites.

These are available in 13.5 oz bottles a mere $5-$6 per bottle. They create a very light foam which doesn’t produce a whole lot of lather but does rinse clean away and leaves skin delicately scented. It’s a shame they don’t do some sort of body lotion or mist to follow up with so you can maintain the fragrance from the shower foam as it does disappear fairly fast.

None the less, it’s still a foam and I’m totally happy with that!

If you’re tired of the same old body wash and shower gel you might want to grab a bottle of this to freshen up your Spring and Summer shower routine.

They are available at drugstores now or snag them at

Are you a fan of foaming shower washes?

Or am I alone here with my obsession?

Ok, well, I’m obsessed with shower gels in general aren’t I!?

I am laughing because i boughtbthe orchid one back in December at CVS for $8.99 used it once, its been sitting in the shower and i decided today to shske it up and use it. I cant wait to read all the reviews. I personally couldnt get enough lather to feel clean. Ok for a hand foaming soap but just not for me.

the foam isn’t very dense and it doesn’t lather up a lot but I like them after a swim just to get all the chlorine off my skin ;D The Dove one produces a lot more lather and the foam is denser!

So, I use the Caress Daily Silk and I LOVE the way it smells! The smell is IDENTICAL to a perfume from Avon that my grandmother used to give me, “Pavi Elle”. She sold Avon for over 50 years, so I know the smell well. It brings back so many memories!!
I think this particular line of body washes, like Daily Silk, is based on real perfumes. Maybe they just can’t say it because of copyright issues, or something.
Definitely gonna try the flaming body wash.

      *flaming!! Haha!
I don’t encourage anyone using FLAMING body wash!! Stupid autocorrect.

OMG! Pavi Elle I had a friend who was obsessed with that fragrance! I may have to buy it just because of that.

I purchased the White Orchid and Coconut Milk version and I love it! I have oily skin that is breakout prone and this provides just enough moisture without breaking me out. Also, it smells so good! I sniffed the other two but liked this one best, though I may go for the Midnight Iris and Vanilla Bean one next! I still need to try those foaming conditioners. I have oily hair that gets weighed down easily and those seem like they’d be nice and light.
