Boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer

Tis the season for gel moisturizers and the new Boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer kicks us right into the Summer with a lightweight, hydrating, and refreshing gel formula.

Boscia taps Queen of Night Cactus to provide moisture to dry, thirsty skin. Created with drier, dehydrated skin types in mind this lightweight moisture is also quite easy to use for oily skin users too thanks to the easy to absorb formula that delivers moisture without excess shine or greasiness. Apparently the effects deliever moisture for up to 48 hours after the initial application. The formula also contains a peptide complex to improve elasticity.

If nothing else it sounds like a great gel moisturizer and I’m all about gel moisturizers as the Summer sets in since they tend to wear quite nicely over SPF without being heavy. Plus they absorb super easily. In the Winter, I’m fine loading up different products over my SPF but in the Summer I like to keep things as light as possible but my skin does need its moisture. Gel moisturizers are always a great way to get light hydration that wears easily without making me shiny or oily!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Curious, you apply your sunscreen 1st, then moisturizer on top of it?

    • Isabella Muse

depends on the sunscreen I’m using that day and the ingredients with which one goes first 🙂

I’m definitely interested in trying this, I’ve been loving gel moisturisers lately. I find they just work better with my skin.

Gels are so great for daily use! Lightweight and they don’t leave me shiny/greasy!

I was looking at this and the reviews are awesome, but then I noticed that most are from Influenster or however you spell it. So I think I’ll wait for some reviews by people that actually bought the product. I like gel moisturizers in the morning because they sink in so well.
